“Carolina Reaper Madness,” by Alpha Unit

The first time Steven Leckart had a Carolina Reaper is an experience he’ll never forget. He says he popped one into his mouth, chewed it thoroughly, and swallowed. Without warning, he says, a numbness shot through his right pinkie, then up into his biceps. Strangely, a mellow head rush set in and a tear trickled down his cheek. And then (as he described in real time):

All hell just broke loose in my mouth. My tongue is burning. My upper lip is stinging. My eyes are bloodshot. It’s like being face-fucked by Satan himself.

He had just eaten a sample of the hottest chili pepper on Earth, as declared by the Guinness Book of World Records. When you first bite into a Carolina Reaper, you’ll find it sweet with a fruity essence. But within moments the astronomical amount of capsaicin takes over. The results are not pretty and might include vomiting and severe abdominal distress, to put it nicely.

The Carolina Reaper is the creation of Ed Currie of Fort Mill, South Carolina. He had been crossbreeding plants since his boyhood in Michigan and eventually used his skills to produce some potent marijuana plants. He began crossbreeding peppers after he read scientific papers suggesting that their chemical compounds might reduce the risk of heart attacks and cancer, two diseases that run in his family.

It took 12 years of crossbreeding for Currie to produce his world-famous chili pepper. He tested hundreds of hybrid combinations before he crossed a LaSoufrière pepper from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent and a Naga pepper from Pakistan to create Smokin’ Ed’s Carolina Reaper. The company describes its effect as a tidal wave of scorching fire.

Pepper aficionados measure the heat of chili peppers in Scoville Heat Units (SHU). The Carolina Reaper has an official heat level of 1.5 million SHU (the hottest individual Reaper was measured at 2.2 million SHU). By comparison a jalapeño pepper ranges from 3,000 to 10,000 SHU. Currie’s employees at the PuckerButt Pepper Company (the actual name) have to wear two pairs of protective gloves while peeling the chilis and scraping out the seeds. The chili oils will eat through one pair of gloves in 15 minutes.

Demand for Currie’s peppers shot up after the Guinness Book named the Reaper the world’s hottest pepper. Americans are eating more peppers than ever, in fact, and a lot of those peppers are made into salsa. But only a fraction of fresh peppers eaten in the US are grown in the US. Most chili peppers (more than 70 percent) are imported from Mexico. Pepper production in the Southwestern US has been plagued by drought and plant diseases – and concerns about labor costs, naturally.

Ed Currie says he never doubted that he could grow the hottest peppers in the world in South Carolina. He grows most of his peppers in greenhouses, which allow him to fine-tune the microclimate for each crop and variety. All of his products (he also grows onions, tomatoes, garlic, herbs, and spices) are organic and are grown in either greenhouses or irrigated fields.

No research has confirmed Currie’s beliefs about the curative powers of the subcapsinoids in chili peppers, but he eats Reapers throughout the day, every day, and swears to their health benefits. His wife doesn’t know how he stands it.

What’s going to happen to the average person who tries a Carolina Reaper for the first time? “You’ll be crying for an hour,” Currie answers. “Literally crying for an hour.”

Lauren Laubach reported on what Currie calls the strangest reaction anyone ever had to trying a Carolina Reaper. A young woman tried one at the New York City hot sauce show in 2013. Currie recalls:

She put it in her mouth, looked at me and gave me the finger, took five steps back and planted herself flat on the concrete. For 20 minutes straight the string of expletives that came out of her mouth was unbelievable. After 20 minutes she stopped, came over to me and gave me a big kiss and said, “I love you. Let’s do it again.”

The Myth of Haiti as a Paradise under French Colonial Rule

Superb comment by Judith Mirville. This is one myth that so needs to die.

First of all, please never say again that platitude as to Haiti (or rather, Santo Domingo as it was then called) having been so prosperous and so sweet to live in under French rule, just before the revolted slaves turned it over into the hell-hole we know of nowadays.

Please keep in mind that Santo Domingo was definitely the harshest place for any black slave (and also for any white servant or prostitute) to end up in throughout all Middle Passage, it was the island with the shortest survival span for Negroes. It was actually a kind of extermination camp though accelerated exhaustion where negroes judged to non-docile to be sold to English American planters or to Portuguese Jews (Jews were indeed involved in slave trade and utilization in the Portuguese colonies — contrary to English American where they kept content with the financing of the antebellum Southern enterprises — but were also known to be more humane masters) were sold to a kind of buyer of last resort.

When the slave masters of Early Dixieland really wanted to scare recalcitrant manpower into submission and productivity, they threatened to sell them to Santo Domingo and made an example out of two or three. It was called the “Pearl of the Indies” not because of its enchanting setting, charming though it was then, but because of the highest and surest return shareholders in Europe expected from there, the best contemporary translation would be Blue Chip.

The revolution took place because those slaves knew they were in that Island to die anyway.

It took exactly twelve years and a quarter to unfold, from 14 August 1791 to 18 November 1803, and as it unfolded the Napoleonic regime ordered Final Solution (as it was called) through 100% extermination. About one twentieth survived. Among the favorite methods were the “pontoons” : decommissioned ships used as gas chambers : the hulks were filled up to the brim with prisoners to be killed with fumes emanating from burning sulfur and thrown into the sea so as to make room for another cargo.

France sacrificed her whole colonial empire in America, selling Louisiana to the Jefferson’s US among others, just to devote all the necessary logistical resources to that grisly enterprise as if it were her most sacred duty (Napoleon wanted to make his empire renowned for yet another thousand years repeating Crassus’ exploit against the revolt of Spartacus), and it failed.

The extermination camp had run so well that all tropical diseases and pests brought about by the authorities to make the place mortal for any fugitive or guerrilla ended up killing all the precious seaworthy French troops that were sent there too, and that would have been badly needed at Trafalgar (the voodoo legend also speaks of black magic used to that effect: given the fact that most of Haitian black magic is about poisons, this comes to no contradiction).

Lamenting the French regime in Haiti as a kind of prosperity never to dream on any more is tantamount to lamenting the good old days when Warsaw, Krakow and Auschwitz were German and under sound industrial management before entering the doldrums of East European post-war Communism.

The Snake River Killer!

406smokedesignal: Hi Robert, FYI, when you referenced the Idaho Falls cases that are unsolved for 35 years, but there was a POI that never was arrested: I believe you are thinking of Lewiston, Idaho, unsolved missing persons/murders. The name(s) of the case(s) are: The Snake River Killer or Lewiston Civic Theatre murders. More twists and turns to missing persons cases and murders than one can fathom…and yet a serial killer walks freely. The strangest part to all of these Lewiston, ID., mysteries is the last person known to have seen almost every victim, yet he was never arrested for any of the disappearances or murders. Things that make you go, hmmmmmm. Thank you for the great blog and keep up the great work.

Yes, those are the Lewiston Murders. Just being the last person seen with a murder victim is never even enough for an arrest. He definitely got away with murder. I believe that those were not his only killings, and that he killed more in Idaho. He now lives in Appalachia, and I believe he has continued to kill over in the Smokies. He’s damn good at not getting caught all right! He’s one slick fellow. He is still alive, and I saw a recent photo of him. Looking at his photo, he doesn’t appear to feel the tiniest bit bad about anything he did.

I have a huge set of notes on that case that has needed to be turned into a post forever now. I really need to do that. This case is one of the most fascinating I have ever researched.

Those of you Delphi readers who are into some really crazy murder mysteries really need to look into this one.

This also goes to show how much evidence you need to take someone to trial for multiple murder. People argue that cops will file such a case just to get a killer off the streets, but that is not the case. In fact, there are cases all over the US where the police think they know who did it, but they do not have enough evidence to file on them. We still live in a democracy you know, never mind that Trump, Pence and the Republicans would love to get rid of it.

In fact, instead of filing desperately to get a killer off the streets, the standard of evidence for terrible multiple murder and serial cases is much higher because you are accusing someone of such a bad crime. The less serious the crime, the less evidence you need to take it to trial. Accusing someone of multiple or serial killings is one the most profound condemnations LE can make of another human being, and DA’s are adamant that LE needs to have a good case before they will take it to trial. The bar for enough evidence to try only raises as the crimes get worse and worse.

In the Lewiston case, police say they are 99% sure who did it, but they don’t have enough evidence to file. The police chief actually wanted to try the main suspect, but the DA refused to take the case, as he said the evidence was not good enough.

Robert A. Taylor of Virginia was recently convicted of the rape murder of a young Black woman. Before that, he was suspected by LE of being a serial killer, as he was the last person to see two young women alive. One was last seen at his house at midnight. In all three cases, the bodies disappeared, so not only did he know how to get away with murder but he also knew how to disappear bodies, which is no simple task. But this last time they got him, and they actually found good evidence against him including the victim’s bloody shirt and her hair and DNA in his home. Her phone last pinged at his house. Her body also vanished. This time police pounced on him. He was convicted the most recent murder but not the other two.

Police often say that they feel they know who did certain terrible crimes, but they really have nothing on them. In those cases, LE often says, “We have to watch him all the time.” So even though they can’t take him to court, they think he is dangerous enough to keep him under surveillance all the time. Surveillance requires no search warrant, and you would not believe how many people LE has under regular or irregular surveillance. And they are pretty good at surveilling you without being caught.

The story of the Lewiston Killer is one of the great true crime stories of the last 40 years. A documentary about the killings called Confluence was recently produced. You can see the trailer for it on Youtube. Police kept the main suspect’s name secret for many years,, but it has finally leaked out. I believe the killer’s latest job in North Carolina was postman. Some wonder if he has been killing women on his postal route. He is still married to the same woman he was married to during the Lewiston killings. She has insisted on his innocence all this time. He was the theater director in Lewiston, a very popular fellow who put on many popular plays. He involved himself in all of the searches often to the point of even leading them himself, and in one case he may have been the first one to find a body.

The Elizabeth Thomas Fake Abduction Case

Let’s have an article covering the Tennessee teacher and the 15 year old girl…they are still missing…your thoughts on this???????

This case has been in the news a lot and a lot of foolish people are flipping out about it.

Here.

I am not going to call this an abduction or kidnapping case because I do not believe that that is what has happened.

My position is she was in love with him, they were having some sort of a love affair, and they both ran off together to drive a long ways away to some remote place to set up shop and get married. They are basically eloping together. It’s laughable that they say she got abducted. If that’s the case, then she got abducted willingly. How the Hell can you willingly get abducted? What else can you do? Kidnap yourself? Imprison yourself? Rob yourself? Burglarize yourself? Molest yourself? It’s so absurd.

Has he even had sex with her? There is talk that he might have kissed her or tried to kiss her? That’s illegal? It might not even be illegal for a 50 year old man to kiss a 15 year old girl. But if he kissed her aggressively, deeply and passionately (you know what I am talking to) then that would be illegal.

I have never heard of any man going down for kissing a teenage girl. For Chrissake, fathers kiss their teenage girl daughters all the time. Are we going to throw them all in prison for 10 years?

This stuff is really getting nutty, and it’s all the fault of women. All this Teenage Girl Mass Hysteria is coming from women because no real man would care about this very much. I mean real men would probably want to keep this stuff illegal at some age – I myself would like to see the AOC down to 16 here in California – but they won’t get hysterical and retarded about it. It’s not that I see this as evil or perverted or damaging or anything like that. It’s more that I think young teenage girls ought to be protected from us men. And we men need to be protected from our own selves.

Any man who gets upset about this stuff is either gay or he’s a great big pussygirl – he’s not much of a man. The only men I have seen getting upset about it are fundamentalist Christian “men” (those guys are not men in any way, shape or form – they’re girlymen) and feminist “men” (feminist men are so pitiful – they’re such wusses and girlyboys).

Assuming that they are basically eloping and also assuming the quite unlikely case that he has not done anything sexual with her other than kissing, has this guy even broken the law? Is it illegal to go for a road trip with a teenage girl if she goes along quite willingly? What’s the name of the law? Is it that Teenage Girl Road Trip law?

*Note: If anyone has any evidence that this girl did not go off willingly with her teacher and was in fact abducted, please let me know as I do not know much about this case.

What’s with All the Rape and Sex Crimes?

You have to go through a regional paper that segregates articles by theme to actually realize the extent of rape-type sexual offenses, including rape and murder.

Child molestation is a whole other ball of wax, and it’s complicated by the drooling, psychotic autism of calling adults who have sex with teenagers pedophiles and child molesters, but I am absolutely stunned at the number of men who are having sex with actual children, like girls 12-under. And a surprising number of them involve violence too. Are all these guys pedophiles?

Pedophiles are only one of the four types of child molesters.

80-93% of child molesters are non-pedophiles. They’re just criminals. They’re not into girls any more than any other guy. They do this because these are aggressive, manipulative, amoral, probably somewhat sociopathic men who take advantage of young girls due to the fact that they are an easy target. Most of this is familial. On Indian reservations in Canada where it is estimated that 100% of girls are molested, most of the molesting is familial. It’s Daddy or Uncle or Grandpa or whoever.

The others are familial, opportunistic, trysexual and psychopathic.

I won’t deal with the first three right now.

Psychopathic child molesters differ from pedophilic ones in that they have no preference for prepubescent girls. Their sexual orientation age-wise is as normal as any other man’s: They are maximallly attracted to females age 16-up, and progressively less attracted as age goes down. Psychopathic child molesters molest girls because they have no morals, and they have a “screw anything that moves” attitude. A girl, a woman, what differenced does it make? All potential targets. Sure, he doesn’t prefer girls, but they will do in a pinch.

The problem with automatically treating all child molesters as psychologically disordered and having a paraphilia is that most of them are probably neither. They’re not nuts in any way. They’re just criminals. If they don’t prefer girls for sex more than any other man, there’s no sexual disorder to treat.

“Screw anything that moves” is not a sexual disorder. “Take advantage of naive daughters and nephews” is not a sexual disorder. “No morals” is not a sexual disorder. “Manipulative scumbag” is not as sexual disorder. My understanding is that most of these guys get labeled pedophiles and thrown in to pedophile treatment programs. It’s really dubious how many of them get helped by these programs especially when there’s nothing much to fix. Worse many them get labeled “mentally disordered sex offenders.” That means they have a mental disorder, in this case a sexual disorder. See any sexual disorders above? Neither do I.

Obviously true fixated pedophiles need to be in a program. Even out of incarceration, they should probably be in regular therapy to keep them from offending or re-offending.

But when a man’s problem is not that he’s a pedophile but that he’s a psychopathic monster, how are these pedophile treatment programs supposed to help him? How are they supposed to help Weird Uncle who prefers women but goes after girls in a sleazy pinch? They can’t.

I would wager that most of these men, if they have any disorder at all, have an impulse control disorder. That’s not in the DSM yet. But just you wait. It would be a bad idea to put Impulse Control Disorder into the DSM because we just labeled half the population crazy. Probably 50% of the population can’t control their impulses well.

Are there treatment programs that teach men how to control their impulses? No idea. Are there programs that aim to impart morals into a morally barren human? Probably, but how good is that going to work. How do you create something that was never there?

I am starting to wonder what the Hell is the matter with us men. I’ve never done anything like this, not even date rape. I don’t get the appeal. If she’s not willing, it’s no fun, right? If she doesn’t want to do it, shrug your shoulders and say, “Fine, I will sleep on the couch then.” Trust me, she will get up in the middle of the night and drag you back to her room. An abundance mindset is always helpful. I guess I have raped if you count the feminist daffynition of rape, but the feminists are so insane on this subject that they would put 50 million men in prison. The feminist definition of rape isn’t even rape. It’s not nothing. It’s just junk, like most anything a feminut says.

But this stuff below is the real deal. As much as I dislike feminists, I am starting to se why so many of them starting hating us men. We’re pretty hateable you know. Hell, I don’t even like men, and I’m a guy!

I’ve been dating some women around age 50. Nearly every single one of them had either been raped. And they had all had a man try to kill them. I figure by age 50, most women in the US have either been raped by a man or had a man try to kill them. That’s pretty sorry.

Ladies I would like to apologize on behalf of all men for the despicable behavior of my gender. It’s an outrage what we do to you. The rapes, the assaults, the beatings, the kidnappings, the imprisonment, the attempted murders and the murders. I can’t believe what you put up with from us. Sometimes I wonder why any of you like any of us anymore.

If you a law-abiding citizen who rarely if ever commits a crime that victimizes the innocent, or at least one who stays out of jail for more than 5-10 hours in their life, the background level of crime in society is absolutely stunning. Sure you’re likely to avoid being a victim of a serious crime, at least this year, but the sheer numbers of crimes occurring in normal everyday America is mind-blowing. And these are just sexual crimes, some of the worst of all.

If you start doing research on less serious but still victimizing crimes, the number of them occurring on any given day even in your area is out of this world. It’s hard to understand how many heedless fools there are out there who are not inhibited by the threat of imprisonment. And there’s a Hell of a lot of sick fucks out there. Incredible how many sickos are running around. It boggles the mind.

Keep in mind this is just this year and the year’s barely even getting started. And in just this one country with 4% of the world’s population. So multiply these cases by 25.

And fully 70% of the cases below that occurred in this year alone happened in only two states, North Carolina and Florida.

And then you think about this factoid that only 4% of rape cases ever result in incarceration and it’s even more shocking. So there’s 25X more of this stuff happening that perpetrators are getting away with.

How Trump Stole the Election by Rigging Voting Machines

This story will have several parts. First of all, I know more about this than 99% of the people out there who are all screaming “conspiracy theory,” so maybe they should go do some research.

Recounts were done in 3 states.

26,000 fake votes for Trump were found in Pennsylvania.

5,000 fake votes for Trump were found in Wisconsin. They were due to “accidents.”

2,000 fake votes for Trump were found in Michigan.

The media never reported any of this. The media lied and said the recounts changed nothing and only added a few Trump votes. They were completely wrong about the recounts, and all the MSM-CIA Deep State news outlets lied and said the same thing.

Also recounts were never even done anyway!

In the most Democratic-heavy areas of Wisconsin, the votes were “recounted” by simply running them through the same machines that probably miscounted them in the first place! But even when they re-ran them through the machines, Stein people were counting the ballots as they went in, and a lot of times their count did not match the total. The error was always in Trump’s favor. Even with obvious fraud or error in those precincts, election officials still refused to hand-count the votes.

Further, there was obstructionism everywhere in Republican precincts, with many Republican pollworkers engaging in what appeared to be deliberate fraud right in front of pollwatchers.

Further, exit polls showed Hillary 3%+ in Wisconsin. The final vote was Trump by a hair. An exit poll in one state could go off badly like that, but they went off in over a dozen states, and that’s not possible. It’s not possible. Further, there was a strong red-shift in the Republican direction with 19/20 exit polls going off favoring Republicans, and in 13 different states, polls were off by more than the margin of error. In a real election, you might expect to have one exit poll not match out of 50. There’s no way that 19/50 exit polls were wrong and 13/50 were grotesquely wrong, almost all favoring Republicans. It didn’t happen. It could not have happened.

In Michigan, there were 70,000 undervotes in Detroit alone! That makes no sense, as there are usually 20,000 undervotes in the whole state. There is no way that there were 70,000 blank ballots in Detroit. These “blank ballots” were never recounted because the voter sign-in numbers did not match the counted ballot numbers in those precincts. A Michigan law says that when that happens, that is indicative of electoral fraud, and that means the votes cannot be recounted! Yeah. Michigan says when there’s evidence of fraud, you can’t recount the votes! Wut.

In the recounting that was done, Trump’s attorneys attended all the recounts, shouted down all efforts at a proper recount, and challenged all changed votes.

All pre-polls found Hillary winning handily in Michigan, and exit polls also showed her winning. In fact, Michigan media called the election early because she was wining so handily on exit polls.

In Pennsylvania almost no votes were recounted at all, yet somehow they found 26,000 fake votes for Trump anyway! There were no ballots to count because there were no ballots period. Count was by electronic scan machines which are banned almost all of Europe as too easy to manipulate. The only way to check the vote in Pennsylvania was to examine the computers that counted the ballots themselves by computer forensics experts. Judges in the Great Democracy of America ruled that the Pennsylvania recount could not go forward. Because, you know, recounting hurts our democracy! Yep. That was exactly the Republican argument.

We have to ask ourselves, why did the Republicans fall all over themselves to stop the recounts? If there’s no fraud, count the ballots right? A little suspicious maybe?

So there were no real recounts, and they still found 33,000 fake votes for Trump. 33,000 fake votes for Trump, even without even doing any recounts.

The vote in Florida was impossible. Hillary was winning for a long time with up to 65% of the vote in early voting. 65% had already voted by Election Day, and Hillary had 57%, a huge lead. She even won 28% of Republican women! For Trump to have won, a tsunami of Trump voters would have had to swarm the polls on Election Day and almost no Hillary voters would have had to show up. There is no way that that happened, and Hillary had huge turnout all over the state on Election Day. The nation’s top statisticians have stated that Trump’s win in Florida was “statistically impossible.”

Excellent Evidence that the 2016 Election Was Stolen by Donald Trump and the Republicans via Hacking of Voting Machines

We do not have a democracy in the US anymore, if we ever had one in the first place. We now officially have a dictatorship now that we have solid proof that Donald Trump stole the Presidency via hacking of voting machines that are used to count the votes in many states.

Two Senators in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania also stole their seats with those machines.

The machines were used to steal the vote for Trump in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. The Republicans have been stealing elections for a long time with these machines.

Even the Democratic wins were actually far greater than what they ended up with. Clinton won one of his elections by 15-20 points, but the machines whittled it way down to half that size or less. They have also been using those damned machines to steal elections in the mid-year. Many seats were stolen in the 2006 midyear elections. I am wondering how many of those state Legislature and Senate seats and governorships have been stolen? The GOP has been on a roll for some time now, especially since Obama came in with many state Legislatures, Senates and Governorships going Republican. In part this is due to many states simply turning redder, but I suspect that in part it may also have been due to fraud with those machines.

You might also be interested to note that Hillary Clinton stole a number of primaries from Bernie Sanders with those same machines.

And in this fake democracy, we can’t even do recounts of stolen elections! There was no proper recount done in Pennsylvania, Michigan or Wisconsin. And the media lied and said the recounts did not uncover any fraud. Recounts done by the states themselves prior to the official recount found 26,000 fake votes for Trump in Pennsylvania, 5,000 fake votes for Trump in Wisconsin and 2,000 fake votes for Trump in Michigan. In Detroit and the surrounding area alone, there were 80,000 undervotes for President. This is unprecedented. In a typical election, there should be maybe 20,000 undervotes in the whole state.

Most of the stolen votes in Michigan were deemed unrecountable based on an insane Michigan law that says were a fraudulent election is suspected (where voter sign-in numbers do not match ballot numbers) the vote in that precinct is “unrecountable.” So we have evidence of possible fraud, that means we can’t recount the votes! 100% of pre-election polls in Michigan predicted a Hillary win by ~3%. There is no way that all of the pre election polls in Michigan were wrong. It’s just not possible.

In Wisconsin the votes in the Democratic-heavy cities were not even recounted. They were just run through the same machines that probably miscounted them in the first place. Running them through the machines again is not a recount. The only valid recount is by hand.

There was no recount in Pennsylvania because all votes in Pennsylvania are unrecountable! They are counted by optical scan machines and there is no paper trail afterwards. There’s nothing to count!

The Trump win in Florida was statistically impossible. Hillary was running ~65% in the early voting, even capturing 28% of Republican women. In order for Trump to surpass that huge early lead there would have to be such a massive turnout of Trump supporters on election day such that would never happen. And there’s no reason why only Hillary voters and not Trump voters would vote early.

A similar scenario occurred in North Carolina. Hillary was up 65% in early voting again with I believe 50% of the vote counted. The Trump win there,  while statistically possible, is highly unlikely as it would rest upon the notion that a huge number of Hillary voters voted early and then never showed up on Election Day and hardly any Trump voters voted early and the vast majority of them voted on Election Day. It’s absurd.

If those elections in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan were so clean, why did the Republicans go crazy trying to stop the recounts? If the election is fair, a recount is nothing to worry about. In this sick joke of a fake democracy, it appears that no Presidential election can ever be recounted no matter how much evidence of fraud. It’s incredible!

Remember when Trump kept saying that the election was going to be rigged? Trump has a habit of projecting and accusing his opponents of doing exactly what he does. Trump was saying that because the election was going to be rigged, by him! In the last few days before the election, Trump and his campaign chair and Giuliani were all extremely confident that Trump would carry Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Everyone else was shaking their heads because Hillary had been leading in almost all polls in those states for some time.

The day before the election, Paul Manafort, Trump’s man with deep connections to Putin’s Russia, told Trump to go to Michigan, despite being behind in all polls there for a long time. Did Manafort know something we do not know? Were the Russians in on the hacking of the election? I would not put it past them, as Putin stole an election in Ukraine a decade ago by hacking the voting machines. Also Russia was caught hacking into a voter registration database of a company in Florida five weeks before the election. That company ran the voter registration database for North Carolina. No one knows what was done in that hack.

The last time election polls were off by this much as in Dewey vs. Truman and polling was in its infancy back then. There is no way on Earth that all of the pollsters got this election wrong. The average of all of the polls was way off in this election. It simply not statistically possible for that to occur in the US. It can’t happen. So none of the pollsters were off. The pollsters were right like they always are. Hillary did win the election except Trump stole it by fraud. Polls cannot predict the outcome of a fraudulent election.

We also know that two Senate seats were stolen this year, one in Wisconsin and one in Pennsylvania.

it is not only Republicans who are stealing elections. This year for the first time, it appears that the Democrats were stealing elections. Of course it was the corporate Democrats around Hillary and the DNC who are the suspects. Hillary appears to have stolen a number of those primaries from Sanders and reduced his lead in others. It looks like the voting machines were used to do this. I would not put it past Hillary to do this. I think she is almost a sociopath.

The voting machines have been being made from Day One by three large corporations. The heads of these corporations are all far rightwing partisans. As soon as those machines got put in, we started seeing a lot of stolen elections for the first time in a long time in the US. Also the software used to count the ballots is proprietary and no one is allowed to look at it. So the elections of the USA are being counted by machines made by a private corporation with proprietary code that no one can look at! Incredible.

This whole thing looks like a Republican plot from the very beginning. Soon after the 2000 debacle which was actually won by Al Gore because Gore actually did win in Florida, Karl Rove and Jack Abramson, the convicted criminal wrote a bill mandating that all states use voting machines in coming elections. Many states then went over to the machines. After these machines were put in in many places, we started seeing a startling number of fraudulent elections. So it looks like that law by Rove and Abramson was written with the knowledge that the Republicans were going to use the machines to steal elections. Computerized voting machines were not in use in 1988, but there is good evidence that Dukakis actually won that election and that Bush Sr. stole it. The votes were being counted by large tallying machines somewhat like the machines that count time cards.

These computerized voting machines have been declared illegal in most of the EU. As usual, the Europeans are far behind us American primitives. In addition, recounts are held regularly in European elections. I believe in Germany now, all major elections go through an automatic hand recount as a matter of course. Now that’s democracy! While democracy blooms in civilized Europe, dictatorship looms in barbarian America.

The mass media refuses to believe that elections are being stolen via these machines. They just will not buy it. I am unsure why this is. The Democratic Party also will not believe that these elections are being stolen, even though they are being stolen right from their own party. I am not sure why that is.

Until we get rid of these damned voting machines, we will never have a democracy in America.

I would also like to point out that the Republican gerrymandering of districts is outrageous and profoundly undemocratic. They have set it up so that no matter what we do, the House of Representatives will be Republican until 2028. There is simply nothing at all we can do to change that. That’s not democracy. That’s dicatorship. Partisan gerrymandering should be illegal. Gerrymandering if it must be done should be done by panels of nonpartisan judges. Studies have shown that nonpartisan gerrymandering results in districts that are much fairer than the partisan ones we have now.

There is no democracy in this country anyway. I don’t think we have had one day of democracy in this country from the very start. The government was set up to be a government of the rich and the elite, and it’s been that way ever since. The people who run this country do not believe democracy. Wealthy elites the world over always hate democracy. Rule by wealthy elites in most places on Earth is dependent on undemocratic means to stay in power. There are just not enough regular working people who are stupid enough to vote for the parties of the rich.

Mass Shooting at Fort Lauderdale Airport

Just heard of it now. Apparently happened at 1 PM EST. Latest count appears to be five dead and 15 wounded in Terminal 2. A suspect is in custody, Esteban Santiago, 26 year old US soldier carrying military ID. He was a combat engineer in the military and was discharged honorably a few months ago. He was born in Florida and is Cuban.

He checked in his gun in his luggage in Alaska, then flew to Florida, retrieved his baggage, went to a bathroom and pulled a gun out of the luggage and came out firing into the baggage area, aiming at their heads. He reloaded several times and shot some people after they were already down. After he was done shooting, he lay down and waited for police to come, putting his gun on the ground so he would not get shot by the coming police. People ran outside, then came back in after things settled down, but then ran out again a bit later with new reports of shots fired. However, that report was false.

A terrorism emergency has been declared at all New York and New Jersey airports as well as bridges, railway systems, terminals and tunnels.

Not Everyone Who Voted Trump Is a Fascist

Trump himself is absolutely a fascist, all the way. And I would say that quite a few of his followers are headed in that direction also.

But Trump has a lot of other supporters who do not appear to be fascists. Jason discussed many young male Libertarians at his college who support Trump on economic grounds.

  1. Non-fascist wingnuts. I think a lot of wingnuts are actually appalled by seeing fascism real and in the flesh here. These are all of the Republicans speaking out against him during the campaign. These are just corporate and rich types who want their money and nothing else. They see real fascism in Trump and they do not like it.
  2. Non-fascist racists. Trump has a helluva lot of racist supporters, but it’s important to note that not all racists are fascists. Not at all.
  3. Libertarians, often young men.
  4. MRA’s, but with a lot of overlap above.
  5. A few very confused Leftists who need to have their heads examined. On looking into them, most of them are “leftwing racists” and yes there are such a thing.
  6. 1%’ers. Tulio pointed out that a lot of the rich just voted for him to get their tax cut.
  7. Corporate types. As corporatist as Hillary is, I think many corporate types thought Trump would be good for business, and in fact, he will.
  8. Middle class suburban types in flyover country and in the South. They always vote Republican, especially in the South.
  9. Christian fundamentalists. They just want to ban abortion and get their other judicial stuff done. Purely utilitarian. There are indeed quite a few Christofash out there, but many rightwing evangelicals are not fascists at all, and I am convinced that many are not even racist.
  10. Muslim haters. These are the types who go into the voting booth and vote muh fuck Islam. Lot of overlap with a lot of the above, but a lot of people just pull the lever on screw the Muslims.
  11. Aggrieved workers. Many working class people may well have felt that Trump was their only hope as the Democrats for the 1% like Hillary wrote them off long ago. Trump won’t help them either, but at least he’s addressing their concerns. These people are voting against these horrible trade deals.
  12. Opponents of mass immigration and illegal immigration. Of course,  most of these folks are racist as Hell, and there’s a lot of overlap above, but I could see a guy like me going in there and pulling the lever for Trump because I am sick and tired of mass immigration, want to throw out all the illegals and want to slash 95% of the fake guest worker scabs. It’s possible to be against all of these things and not be particularly racist. I don’t think I am all that racist, and I oppose all of this.
  13. American nationalists. Although there is huge overlap above, and the fash component is all these types, I suppose it is possible to be a US nationalist without being a fash or a racist. I get called America hater all the time, but the truth is that I am an American nationalist. I love my country, so it really pisses me off when I see my country acting evil. It’s like love for a wayward son. As a man who loves his country, I want to see my country doing good, not evil. The main reason  I oppose all this mass, illegal and guest worker immigration is it’s bad for country. That’s why I oppose the trade deals too.

In Praise of Hunter Wallace

Sam J: Robert quoting Hunter Wallace! I’m flabbergasted. I agree with most all of the things Hunter Wallace says except I don’t want to break up the USA; I want the whole country.

I don’t agree with him, but he is a superb writer! Does anyone else notice what a great writer he is? Sometimes I think it takes another good writer to recognize another good writer. Maybe for most people, we all seem the same.

But though it is painful for me to say this, I have always thought that Hunter Wallace is a better writer than I am. And I think I am very good. Thousands of people have been telling me this since I was seven years old, so I figure it’s probably true. I’m a failure at everything else, but I can write. No wait, I can get laid. OK, let me restate it. I’m a failure at almost everything, except I can write and I can get laid. Well, that means I am good at two things at least, and that’s probably better than most humans. Actually, I meet people who write better than I do frequently, and it is very humbling. I don’t mind at all if others can write better than me. I don’t have to be #1 or the best. All I need is good or better. You’re an idiot if you need to be the best at anything.

Anyway, Hunter Wallace is a fine, fine writer. He has an excellent turn of phrase, and I find myself repeating his gem-like perfect sentences over and over in my head because they are so right-there immaculate. For instance, that call-out quote by him above defining Liberal Race Realism is the most perfect description of it yet by anyone by far.

And I think Wallace is also an excellent thinker, which makes sense as good writers and good thinkers tend to be the same thing. Few writers write for mere prettiness. In fact, being a great thinker is probably one of the most important qualities in being a fine writer. Most people probably don’t realize that.

Now I also think he is wrong about a number of things. But what most do not realize is that great thinkers can still be wrong. In fact, they are often wrong. The fact that you are wrong does eliminate the possibility of being a great thinker.

Check out Otto Weininger. Now, I happen to think he is wrong about a number of things, but Weininger is great in part because of exactly how he is wrong in that most perfect, glorious and beautiful way of being-wrong. In fact, figuring out how he is wrong is one of the fantastic things about reading Weininger. His greatness lies in how he is wrong, exactly as Wittgenstein, who acknowledged Weininger as an influence, said, and Wittgenstein was never wrong about anything.

Now, I do not agree with Hunter at all on quite a few things, but I have some respect for him. He calls himself an agrarian socialist. Look up a seminal tract by Southern writers from 1935 called I Take My Stand – I believe Faulkner signed it. He’s about as dubious of the rich and powerful and the corporations as I am, and I’m a Leftist. What Wallace is selling is actually the real deal – true rightwing populism. Not that junk snake oil half-rightwing populism Trump is selling, but I mean the real stuff. His project is not as good as Marie Le Pen’s of course, and he’s wrong on race, but I do have to respect him.

Also his discourse is pretty clean and polite. You don’t hear him calling Black people niggers and whatnot, but Southern Whites have a long tradition of this genteel manner when at least speaking about race. And while we don’t agree about race, I think we agree racially on one thing. I love my people. I actually love White people and White culture. I love being White. I wake up every morning, look up at the ceiling and think, “Thank God for making me White!” I’m sure Hunter agrees with me racially in that sense anyway.
