A Myth: Your Childhood IQ Score Is Inaccurate and You Need to Retake the Test As an Adult

I once had a very high IQ commenter, a more or less autist neckbeard HBD’er who seemed like he couldn’t get laid with God’s help like most such types. But have no fear. He was going to conquer the world with that towering thundercloud of an IQ score of his. I’m afraid he is in for a very rude awakening.

We were discussing IQ’s in the comments when somehow we got invaded by neckbearded HBD autists. The conversation turned awkward and uncomfortable real fast like it always does with these social retards.

We are telling each other our IQ scores and I volunteered mine, recorded at age 14. I’m not taking any more tests. I got my fancy gold-plated score and I ain’t taking any more tests, thank you very much. I don’t need to keep going back and keep checking to see if my brain’s still there. Plus I am terrified I won’t reach my old score, and I’m vain as Hell. We conceited folks don’t take too kindly to assaults on our egos. They’re quite painful actually, almost physically painful.

This autist got all huffy and aggressive like they always do and insisted that my childhood score was completely worthless because child brains and adult brains are too different species that can’t mate or something. Or nothing. Or whatever. Or this or that. Or bla bla bla. I had to go back and take the IQ test again in adulthood to prove my head hadn’t fallen off at some point on the boy to man journey.

His argument was about as retarded as his socialization. I scoffed at him and told him that research showed he was wrong. He dug in his heels, got his back up, and pretty soon we had an argument. He kept repeating his notion over and over. He just would not let go of it. He was like a dog with a bone. That’s socially retarded, but it’s typical for these types once again.

I believe your IQ is pretty much fixed and research indicates that this is the case. You can raise it quite a bit in adolescence or early adulthood around college years. I believe you can raise it maybe 15 points. And perhaps you could drop your IQ by 15 points if you simply choose to turn your brain into a beer-addled couch potato.

Yet past age 23 or so, IQ is generally remarkably stable. In fact, statistically it is quite stable at age 7. If your childhood score is very high, you can usually take it to the bank. I don’t buy the idea that a childhood score is worthless and you have to go take the test again as a grownup to find out your “true adult IQ.” It’s asinine.

I got a 147 score at age 14, which means I am in the top .1%. If I am in a stadium with 1,000 random Americans, I’m smarter than everyone in the whole damn place. And it often feels something like that, honestly. It doesn’t even feel good. Instead it feels sort of lonely. It’s lonely at the top, like with a lot of things apparently.

You would have to put another 1,000 people in the stadium. Now you have 2,000 people eating peanuts and hot dogs and watching the game. And then you would have one person who is smarter than I am. It might be nice if I could talk to them, but with my luck, I’d probably be surrounded by Neandertals as usual. I’d try not to think they were lugheads and would try to be as nice to them as possible. I might even make conversation with them on the off-chance that they might say something interesting and not par for the regular human course.

Just to show you what a tool that guy was, I retook the test in a clinical psychologist’s office at age 29.

My mother worked for a clinical psychologist and one day she asked me if I wanted to take an IQ test because he would give it to me for fre where it usually is ~$200. The test was not all that hard but it was a bit challenging. Mostly it was just fun. It seemed to consist mostly of little puzzles, often weird figures and such and you had to figure out the pattern and predict the next one in the sequence. It was easier than I thought it would be, and I bombed out of high school math.

I never heard my score and he didn’t give it to my Mom. He just said “over 140.” My Mom said he was walking around the office for a while shaking his head like he couldn’t believe the score. He kept saying, “Very high, very high.” He told her he had been giving these tests for 30 years, and in all that time, they were only ~10-15 people who scored as high as I did.

I received basically the same score as I got at age 14, and that was after the drugs had set in.

I’d been carpet-bombing my brain with all sorts of substance ordinances since age 16. But by that time at age 29, I had cut back. I only smoked pot maybe three times a month. I drank a couple six packs every weekend and maybe 2–3 beers a night during the week. I rarely did coke and that year I took my last LSD and psilocybin trips. I’ve only done meth maybe three times. I hadn’t taken pills in years. The rare PCP trips were a thing of the past, thank God.

I’ve been too scared to do psychedelics since, though I have taken them ~40 times with almost nothing in the way of problems. But then I often carefully prepared for trips and waited until I thought I was in a perfectly clear and centered place in my head before I tripped, especially on acid. I once kept a hit of acid in my fridge for 1 1/2 years because I didn’t think my head was OK enough for it. Finally after 18 months, I felt my head was sane enough to trip, and so I did.

But by age 29, my partying days were through. The Endless Party is the Greatest Show on Earth, until one day way you’re dead and it’s all over way too soon. You’ve got to quit or cut back sometime.

At age 29, my score was pretty much the same as it had been at age 14, with my pristine and virgin brain tissue still intact and not yet violated by a single drink or hit off a joint. The score was even somehow immune for the dope artillery barrage I had been firing at it for years.

I don’t really no what to say about this but maybe heavy pot and psychedelic use doesn’t have any permanent effects.

I can’t speak for other drugs because I never did enough of them. I did cocaine recreationally for 13 years, but I never got hooked on the stuff and my lifetime dose of the drug is probably less than an ounce. I took meth three times, enough to decide it was the most evil drug on Earth. I learned my lesson with PCP. They stuff even tasted like poison. It had this creepy metallic taste to it like it was actually chemically toxic. It wasn’t even fun to smoke like pot or hash. It felt like you were dunking your head in a pot of weird smelling chemical stew in some chemist lab.

Got a fancy childhood IQ score? Frame it and put it on the wall of your mind and don’t bother with another test.

A Modern Myth: The “Fried Brains” Lie

I was a fairly heavy drug user, mostly pot and some psychedelics, for 15 years or so as a teenage boy and young man. But when I took an IQ test at age 29, I got the same score as when I was 14. You would think the equivalent of spraying Agent Orange in my brain for a decade would have fried a few cells here and there, but I guess not. I generally felt as smart as ever.

There were times I thought I was permafried. I took crack and had an empty head for three days. I did speed and vaporized by skull for a week. I drank 10 beers and did lots of coke one New Years and had the brain of a grazing animal for 10 days. I took acid and had memory issues for a month.

Every time I thought I had finally cooked the goose for good, the drug effects would wear off and my brain would wake up again, buzzing along fast as ever. I don’t think there are any permafried people. It’s an urban legend. Every so-called drug casualty I met was currently using. Even heavy Ecstasy use usually recovers in ~eight years. The brain is an adaptive organ. It’s as if it thinks for itself. Even if there are damaged cells or connections, the brain just cuts new passageways around and tries to circumvent the damage, like building a temporary dirt road around a landslided  highway.

My position is that there are no such thing as drug casualties, acid casualties, fried brains, permafried people or any of that. All of the casualty cases were currently using and they often using very heavily. Many of the times they were said to be permafried, they were just tripping on PCP or something, passed out with a beer in their hand and lying on the patio with pissed pants. What people called permafried were just the results of very heavy current use and often acute intoxication.

Some very  heavy users and drinkers are now in their 50’s and are affected. In every case I have seen, they are completely normal psychologically, but they do have some memory problems. I’ve never seen one of the legendary fried brains cases that haven’t used in forever but are still permanently out to lunch psychologically.

This is actually good news. Even if you are a heavy user, you will recover and  probably recover fully at least psychologically when you quit. Like with smoking, you are usually better off if you quit.

I’ve known many people who had taken LSD 100 or more times. 300 times was a pretty common number. All were psychologically healthy or even robustly or super-healthy. There’s probably a reason for that. The more disordered you are psychologically, the more likely it is that your trips are going to be quite unpleasant or even nightmarish. It takes a very cool and sane head to take acid trips in the triple numbers without having much issues. Some people simply “don’t have the head for it” and those who are robustly healthy in their heads are most able to weather heavy acid use.

Only one of these people was weird, and everyone brings him up every time I talk about acid. He’s supposedly a legendary acid casualty. He isn’t. He’s just weird. He’s got my exact IQ score (I saw his chart at the same time the counselor conspiratorially showed me mine and the problem with genius level IQ’s is that at and above that level, people start to get weird. And they get weirder and weirder at IQ rises higher and higher. At lot of people with IQ’s over 150 are  pretty damn weird.

Anyway it’s true. The guys is weird as fuck-all. But there’s harmless weird and scary weird and he’s just the harmless weird type. The two types are pretty simple to distinguish if you just spend a bit of time around them.

The problem with the acid casualty argument with this guy is that I knew him when he was 12 years old in seventh grade. And believe it or not, he was orders of magnitude weirder then and that was before he had sampled a single substance. If you want to play the cause and effect game, you have to conclude that all that acid made him much less weird. That’s a strange thing to conclude, but the Drug War crowd love to play cause and effect, so we can show them that it works both ways.

Personally I think the guy was just weird. He’s just one of those totally out to lunch genius types. all utterly harmless, you see wandering around university campuses with those permanently distracted weird blank stares that make you think they are insane until you talk to them and you realize you are talking to a remarkably sane person.

Like most weird, bizarre genius types, he improved a lot of his weird behaviors in adolescence but he still had way too many funny tics and verbal and gestural weirdisms. Once you talk to him, you realize he is quite sane. If you hang around with him, his behavior is remarkably normal. He’s rather inhibited, conservative, passive and in the background, but I would say your typical quasi-borderline modern woman is way flakier than he is. He never has meltdowns or even depressions or anxiety attacks. He’s not irritable at all. His moods are so calm he’s almost boring in that way.

Sometimes it’s even boring and frustrating to be around him and I even long for one of my typical Rollercoaster Quasi-Borderline Girlfriends like I usually end up with. Wild rides are scary, but they’re also damn fun. These psychobitches and crazy women drive me batty when I am with them, and then I miss them when their gone. What can I say?  The human condition is often paradoxical.

Delphi Murders: My Clearing of Two of My Major POI’s

NOTE TO COMMENTERS 1:

I am getting tired of saying this over and over, but most of the material below is made up of rumors and my own opinions and theories. None of that is represented as fact. Furthermore, I am not using rumors as reliable sources as has been alleged. I never said they were reliable sources. How reliable is a rumor? That’s for you to determine, but in general a rumor is not considered to be a reliable source, and they are not treated as such below.

Also when I say I am 100% sure of something, that means that I am 100% sure of it in my own mind. All of us are 100% sure of all sorts of things we cannot prove. That’s the nature of the human condition. We simply assume many things are facts until proven otherwise. Now many of these things that I was completely certain of were later proven to be wrong. Such is the case with many other things people become certain of in their own mind. Once again, when I say I am sure or certain or 100% certain, it means only that I am sure in my own mind. I am not stating that any of these things are facts. They are simply my convictions. Any of all of these firmly held beliefs of mine about this case could possibly will later prove to be false.

The only thing that is represented as fact are statements sourced from LE or the media. If you have issues with rumors, theories, opinions. etc., just quit reading right now and save yourself the heartache.

NOTE TO COMMENTERS 2:

I thought I made this one thing perfectly clear as Richard Nixon used to say:

I have no sources whatsoever among the families of the girls.

I have no sources whatsoever in LE, local or otherwise.

There ya go.

What I do have is sources close to the families. These people generally live in Delphi and the surrounding region. So that makes my rumors even more hearsay. I’m not even talking to the families. I am talking to people who talk to the families!

Of course I have no LE sources. I thought I made that clear. Never have. Yes, I have talked to some of them, but of course they didn’t tell me a thing. A couple of times they told me that a certain person was a POI or that a certain person had been cleared with an airtight alibi. I suppose they don’t mind giving out that information. But other than that, they don’t tell me jack. It’s hard enough to even get them to call you back. I think if I asked them if my name was Robert Lindsay, they would say, “I am sorry, but I cannot comment on matters relating to an ongoing investigation.” That’s how bad it is.

So what do I have? Once again, I have sources who are close to LE. They get their information from LE, then they talk to me. So once again this is even more hearsay, as I am not even talking to LE but to the people who are talking to LE.

I really wish people would quit claiming I have LE or family sources. I just don’t. If you think I have these sources, just quit reading my stuff right now and go away. You will not be missed!

NOTE TO COMMENTERS 3: The lies never end. The latest is “Lindsay takes other people’s theories and claims they are his own.” Of course I don’t. This website is nothing but a compendium of rumors from all over the Net regarding this crime. I go through the rumors and try to rank them on a scale of weak to strong. I compare them against other rumors to see which one is better. All sorts of theories have been flying around since day one. I report those too.

The theories are really just more rumors. I’d say the vast majority of the rumor theories reported here were thought up by other people. I find most of my theories on other sites about this crime. That’s how it works, you know. You get theories about the crime from others. Yes, you use your own theories and you use other people’s theories. I really do not have time to down through the list of theories and say where I got them from. I have come up with a few of my own, but even with those, I guess someone else thought of them first. Also a lot of the theories here are also the result of constant brainstorming I do with my fellow sleuths.

Sun: Robert, elimination of all your recent POI’s makes sense except for one. Multiple commenters in this new continue to refer to MP/CP. That was also the one avenue I was surprised to see you now rule out. Was there something definitive that resulted in your shift in thinking? What was it?

The names of MP and CP have been commonly bandied about among both locals and non-locals as possible suspects in the Delphi Murders. After much consideration, I am making this post to state my opinion that both of these men are innocent of the murders of Liberty German and Abigail Williams.

The purpose of this post is to announce my clearing of both MP and CP as POI’s. I will share photos that can reveal these men’s identities, but as I am acquitting them, I don’t see why this is a problem. This whole post is about what I feel is their innocence, so I do not see what the fuss would be.

MP and CP are both cleared at least in my mind. Obviously I cannot clear anyone, but I can clear some suspects in my own mind anyway and that is all that this post is about.

Yes, both CP and MP have rock solid alibis for the period of the crime. CP was at work at Subaru, and MP was at work at his business. Both CP and MP appeared on the scene at 5:30 PM as part of the initial search and searched for at least four hours until 9:30 PM. Family and friends came back at 12 PM and searched until 2:30 AM. I assume that CP and MP were part of this second group. So CP and MP are accounted for at the time of the crime.

If the girls were being held in the barn as I believe, MP and CP would have had to come back probably at 2:30 PM to participate in the goings on at the barn. That seems most unlikely to me, as this seems to be about the time the boys in the barn were finishing up business. The girls were probably dumped between 2:30 AM and 7:30 AM. If CP and MP were missing from their homes at this time, we would have heard about it. One may inquire of Becky P regarding MP’s whereabouts at that time. I am sure she will tell you he was at home.

Of all of the people wounded in the fallout from this crime, Becky Patty seems to have been injured worst of all. I have heard that Becky goes in for her appointments in town and refuses to talk. She won’t say a word. She just sits there and sobs the whole time. She’s taking this harder than anyone. You have to prioritize your grief and rage or your marriage. I am quite certain that Becky Patty values her grief far more than her marriage. If she thought for one second that MP was involved, she would have turned him in in a NY minute. The fact that she has not speaks volumes to me.

Also I have heard testimonies from people who know MP that he is a solid stand-up guy. I have reason to believe he is not perfect, especially in terms of his relationship to Libby. However, this looks more like a case of over-parenting than anything else. People who know MP are dumbfounded that he could be involved and insist that he just doesn’t have it in him.

Looking at his history, MP seems to be a stand-up guy, particularly in terms of the seedy hillbilly underbelly of Delphi you glimpse when you rip that fake Mayberry hardcore Christian conservative facade off. Delphi is Tobacco Road a century in the future. All is not as it seems in this seemingly idyllic all-American town.

In terms of that backdrop, MP seems to be one of the finest men in town. He runs his own business and makes a good living at it. It would be hard to see him jeopardize that. He has taken in a number of kids as adoptees. It looks like 3-4 at last count. The rumor that he is a Satanist is probably not true. Instead, he seems to be a devoutly religious Christian. He took in CP as an adopted child also, so CP is not his real son. He also took in Libby. He’s more of a long-suffering man in the true Christian spirit of Dostoevsky and You Know Who who sacrifices for others with little complaint.

The Case Against MP

Police said they were looking for someone wearing black tennis shoes with a white stripe. I have two photos of MP wearing black tennis shoes with a white stripe.

Mike Patty black tennis shoes white stripe

MP’s black and white shoes from a distance.

MP’s lower right arm was badly scratched up right after the crime.

Scratches on Mike Pattys arm

Scratches on MP’s arm seen soon after the crime. Although I regard this man as innocent, I still have no explanation for these marks.

MP wore a watch on his left wrist. Soon after the crime, the watch was still there, but the clock  face seemed to have been ripped off the watch and all that was left was a partial watchband in the form of a bracelet.

Also his seeming lack of emotional response to his granddaughter being murdered is puzzling. A few months after the time, MP was thought to have an air of relief about him.

MP bears a very strong resemblance to Bridge Guy when photos are compared.

MP and Bridge Guy

Side by side comparisons of BG and MP show a remarkable resemblance.

MP had a strained relationship with Libby. She had run away from home many times, which was in part behind the muted response to her being missing. No one knows why she kept running away. Libby complained the MP stalked her. She also was known to hide when he came to see her. Some have suggested that this may mean that MP was having sex with his daughter.

MP had a strained relationship with Libby’s birth mother. MP was also said to be exasperated by the task of raising Libby.

MP is Liberty’s guardian, her own grandfather. His son CP may have been having sex with Libby according to statements he made on Facebook.

Cody Patty conversation about Libby

Statement by CP suggesting sex with an underage girl, possibly Libby.

Son is 28 years old. In the US, that man is a child molester and will go down on that charge and be registered sex offender for the rest of his life. CP may also have been having sex with Libby’s sister, now 16, starting when she was 13. He would have been an adult when possibly doing that too, and it was also illegal.

Kelsis story

Kelsi’s story. I think there is a longer version on the Net. A couple of local women told me that they thought the older man Kelsi was having sex with was CP.

According to this theory, Libby may have been killed to prevent a possible pregnancy or to keep her from going to authorities about the statutory rape.

The Case Against CP

CP and MP are both rumored to be involved in child pornography.

CP already has ~4 DUI’s at the young age of 28. Surely he has been in jail before. The DUI’s are at ~2 year intervals dating back to when he was ~20 years old. CP is a charming Alpha male player type with a bad boy air about him.

CP has some quite unsavory friends, including one in Lafayette who was arrested on 2-15 for possession of methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine and having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old girl whom he also photographed. Photos were found on his phone.

Secondary Motive for MP

Secondary motive may be Satanism/occult. There is an occult circle in Carroll County that has been there for decades and holds regular outdoor meetings and ceremonies. Both MS and MP are rumored to be practicing Satanists and members of this occult circle. Probably not a primary motive, but they may have thought if they were going to kill them anyway, they might as well make it into a Satanic sacrifice.

Killed on the 13th: bad luck day, occult significance

32: add up numbers in kill date and get 32. 32 has occult significance, Day of Sacrifice

Abigail Williams: Abigail Williams, accuser in Salem witch trials, sent a number of women to their deaths who were accused of being witches. Satanists consider her an eternal enemy who sent many persons who they call witches to their deaths. They also say she was a traitor and a former witch herself. Now Abigail Williams lives as a 13 yr old girl in Indiana, and they get to kill their age old enemy, Abigail Williams.

Primary motive: The S’s motives are presently unknown. MP may killed Libby to protect CP from possible charges of statutory rape from Libby which would have sent him to prison for child molestation and put him on the Registered Sex Offender list for rest of life.

Ron Logan: Remember Oswald, “I’m just a patsy!”

Ivan Brumbaugh: Innocent, guilty of contaminating a crime scene.

Rejoinders to the charges against MP and CP:

Police said they were looking for someone wearing black tennis shoes with a white stripe. I have two photos of MP wearing black tennis shoes with a white stripe: MP’s shoes are actually not tennis shoes, but instead are high-top sneakers. I do not believe we are talking about the same shoes here.

Mike Patty black tennis shoes white stripe closeup

MP’s black shoes with white stripe from a distance.

MP’s lower right arm was badly scratched up right after the crime. Suggestion is his lower arm got torn up by a violent victim he was fighting with: People who know MP state that his arm has been this way for a long time as a result of weathering and a lifetime of hard work. They say these scars did not appear overnight but have been there for some time. In lieu of any evidence for the other theory, this seems to be the best explanation for these wounds.

Mike Patty broken watch

So called broken watch was actually a memorial bracelet from a charity bike ride on 2-15.

MP wore a watch on his left wrist. Soon after the crime, the watch was still there, but the clock  face seemed to have been ripped off the watch and all that was left was a partial watchband in the form of a bracelet. Suggestion is that the watch face was torn off by a victim he was tussling violently with: This is a matter of misidentification. MP apparently removed his watch after the crime. He acquired a memorial bracelet at the charity bike ride after the deaths. It is this bracelet that can be seen on his wrist, not a broken watch.

Mike Patty

This is the photograph where MP was said to have scratches on one arm and a broken watch on the other. See rejoinders above.

His seeming lack of emotional response to his granddaughter being murdered is puzzling: Many people are suspicious of MP’s behavior after the crime. However, given his solid alibis, I simply feel that people handle emotions in different ways. I have been accused of being a bit of a Doctor Spock myself, but I do have emotions, I assure you. I feel this is simply MP’s individual way of processing this trauma.

A few months after the time, MP was thought to have an air of relief about him. This suggests that he may have been relieved that his role in the crime was not found out: Given his solid alibi, I feel sure he was not involved. Perhaps the sense of relief is in the sense that his own trauma is fading as the events are starting to fade into memory and he is getting back to the business of living. Grieving is a sign of compassion and humanity, but life is for the living. Spinoza said as much. Regardless of your trauma, life must go on. The girls are gone no matter how MP processes this crime. He can be a broken man forever or he can move on, and the girls are not coming back either way. So there is no practical reason to ruin your own life over the death of another. You are just creating one more victim.

head down comparison 20

Striking resemblance of MP and the Bridge Guy.

MP bears a very strong resemblance to Bridge Guy when photos are compared: The photos of MP and Bridge Guy do show a remarkable resemblance. In fact, a fellow sleuth is so convinced by this analysis that he is certain that MP killed those girls. The problem here would only be known by those of us who have seen many such comparisons. The photo of BG is very poor. It seems half of Delphi and many men in the surrounding area and even up to 350 miles away show a striking resemblance to BG.

This is also not the first photo comparison I have seen showing a remarkable resemblance to a POI and Bridge Guy. I have seen at least three others where you would swear that man had to be BG. Obviously all three of these men cannot be BG. Saying someone looks like BG is of limited utility as so many fit the bill. Even photo lineups showing striking resemblances are not impressive as MP’s is the fourth one I have seen so far. Photos of men looking like BG and even comparisons like the above showing remarkable resemblances with BG are of limited utility.

Further, MP appears to have a rock solid alibi that he was at work at the time of the abduction when this photograph of BG was taken. Unless MP can be in two places at once somehow, he cannot possibly be BG, striking resemblances be damned.

In addition, MP seems much heavier than BG whose weight was estimated by an expert at 180 pounds. In addition, he does not seem to be a tall man. I do not know MP’s height, but I question whether is even 5’10, which is BG’s height. His height and weight would seem to rule out his being BG.

MP had a strained relationship with Libby. She had run away from home many times, which was in part behind the muted response to her being missing. No one knows why she kept running away. Libby complained the MP stalked her. She also was known to hide when he came to see her. Some have suggested that this may mean that MP was having sex with his daughter: MP and Libby had a difficult relationship, and she seemed frightened of him and accused him of stalking her. She hid from him when he came. This would seem to imply that not all was kosher with Dad and daughter in this household.

However, I think this is more a sign of over-parenting. Knowing his deeply religious background, MP may have been a strict stepfather. The stalking may have been him trying to keep tabs on a rebellious daughter. She may have been hiding from him if he was a strict disciplinarian. There is no evidence for what boils down to WAG’s that MP was having sex with his daughter, and it seems quite out of character for MP.

MP had a strained relationship with Libby’s birth mother. MP was also said to be exasperated by the task of raising Libby. Implication here is that by killing  Libby, MP was ridding himself of an exasperating problem. I must say that killing Libby would make MP’s life orders of magnitude worse, assuming he was caught, than the trying task of raising Libby.  MP also seems to be a true Christian long-suffering for good and the good of others sort. Dostoevsky says “the Christian must fail.” This means that in a world ruled by evil, the only way to win and get ahead is to be bad. Trying to be good is futile and will only end in poverty and failure. Although MP is not poor, his life is in line with this thinking that in an evil world, men dedicated to the good are bound to suffer.  This is probably part of his religious faith and he accepts it as such.

Possible Satanism/occult motive to the crime. Secondary motive may be Satanism/occult. There is an occult circle in Carroll County that has been there for decades and holds regular outdoor meetings and ceremonies. Both MS and MP are rumored to be practicing Satanists and members of this occult circle. Probably not a primary motive, but they may have thought if they were going to kill them anyway, they might as well make it into a Satanic sacrifice: For the life of me, I cannot see MP as a Satanism or even being involved in the occult in any way. I am just not buying it. He would have to live an extreme double life as both a deeply religious Christian and a Satanist. Just forget it.

Rejoinders to the Case Against CP

Cody Patty confessing to sex with Liberty German 2

Facebook post with CP stating he had sex with an underage girl. People who saw this said he was confessing to having sex with Libby.

MP is Liberty’s guardian, her own grandfather, His son CP may have been having sex with Libby. Son is 28 years old. In the US, that man is a child molester and will go down on that charge and be registered sex offender for the rest of his life. CP may also have been having sex with Libby’s sister, now 16, starting when she was 13. He was an adult when possibly doing that too, and it was also illegal. Libby may have been killed to prevent a possible pregnancy or to keep her from going to authorities about the statutory rape: A recent theory, the best theory so far, is that Abbie was pregnant, and the crime was a botched abortion. It sounds bizarre, but it makes more sense than anything prior.

Perhaps CP had sex with Libby. This may be suggested from Facebook posts where he admits to having had sex with a 14 year old girl. Bizarrely, this post was made on 2-14, the day the girls bodies were discovered. CP’s friends say he was just joking around and suggest that these are just lyrics to a song, possibly a rap song. CP is either not very smart or he has very poor taste to be making such statements after two young teenage girls were raped and murdered. Hence perhaps he and his father were worried about a possible sex charge and resulting RSO status for life. There may also have been a worry that Libby was pregnant.

The fact that CP and MP both have rock solid alibis for the crime period would seem to render this motive moot. Further, it is not even 100% certain that CP had sex with Libby, or if he did, if she was going to turn him in. Libby was almost surely not pregnant. If she was not pregnant, why would anyone worry that she was? This was always an interesting motive, but it has bit the dust with the excellent alibis of CP and MP.

Two local women told me that CP had sex with Libby and also was suspected to be the older man who Libby’s sister Kelsi wrote about having a long-term sexual affair with. CP’s friends deny that he has committed statutory rape, but there are a number of people in and around Delphi who state the opposite. At any rate, one of the possible victims is dead now, and dead girls can’t testify. The other girl is now older but was known for refusing to finger the man she was having sex with because she loved him. So CP seems in the clear even if the accusations are true, and we have no proof that they are. We only have rumors. At any rate, this case is about the rapes and murders of two young teenage girls. Statutory rape is another matter altogether and is frankly beyond the scope of this post and for that matter this amateur investigation we have going on here.

In addition, it is not even certain that CP had sex with any underage teenage girls ever, as his friends claim that his confession is just a joke.

I will say that CP does not seem have very good judgement and is no stranger to breaking the law.  He’s clearly spent months in jail, and his driver’s license is probably suspended for quite some time. He’s hardly an upstanding fellow, but I do not believe he is a murderer.

Cody Patty confessing to sex with Liberty German

A photo that some think shows a close relationship between Libby and CP. However, they were also cousins, though not related by blood. Cousins can be quite close.

CP and MP are both rumored to be involved in child pornography: This is quite a stunning charge, and no evidence has been provided for it. CP may like to have sex with underage girls and men who do so, often photograph their activities. So we are not talking about the real deal child pornography but instead media involving naked teenage girls or sex with teenage girls. If you have ever seen a photo of a naked teenage girl (there are many quite legal nudist photos on the Net if you wish to peek), it looks exactly like a naked woman. Any normal man would be aroused by such a thing, so it’s not abnormal to find this arousing.

Although CP may have taken such photos at such time, I very much doubt if MP did unless he led some double life. Perhaps MP had a double life, but I doubt it. Also MP does not seem to be a sexually obsessed fellow. He may well enjoy sex, but I don’t think he is into sex to the point where it becomes an obsession and a problem, sometimes with criminal overtones. I’m just not buying this.

CP has some quite unsavory friends, including one in Lafayette who was arrested on 2-15 for possession of methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine and having a sexual relationship with a 16 year old girl whom he also photographed. Photos were found on his phone: Clearly CP is not an angel by any means. But having bad friends and being a rapist-murderer are two different things. Fortunately, we are not allowed to be charged with having criminal friends, or quite a few of us would be imprisoned.

CP already has ~4 DUI’s at the young age of 28. Surely he has been in jail before. The DUI’s are at ~2 year intervals dating back to when he was ~20 years old:  CP has worse problems with alcohol and driving as Ron Logan, and Ron is 50 years CP’s senior. CP is not getting off to a very good start in life. But being a drunk driver and being a rapist-murderer are two very different things, as the persecution of Ron Logan showed us.

CP is a charming Alpha male player type with a bad boy air about him: Many men are like this. Rakes are not the finest of men, and they are no doubt quite happy with that status. Even aging roues like me are not so exemplary. There’s a difference between being a bad boy and a bad man. Lots of us are bad boys. I still get called that, and I am almost 60. It may well be terminal in my case. Bad boys are mostly just rebels who live up to the Alpha male stereotype. Women love bad boys, much to their detriment, but their lust for scary men is part of what drives so many men to play the role. If we men are to be rewarded for acting like callous sociopaths, a lot of us will play that role, if only to get laid. Sorry ladies, this is just how men are. If you don’t like it, there’s always the YWCA.

The man who did this crime is surely a bad boy, but he is also something much worse – is a bad man. CP is quite a bad boy, but I doubt if he is a real bad man of the type that would do such a crime.

Psychological Effects of Their Work on Slaughterhouse Workers

Good comment from Kim, one of our excellent commenters. It’s not related to the murder case, but it shows you Delphi may not be the idyllic small Indiana town that everyone thinks it is. There is a very high percentage of RSO’s for such a small town, apparently related to the slaughterhouse in town. Slaughterhouse employees in turn develop psychological effects that would be at odds with the image of a peaceful and easy-going small town.

So beneath the cozy image, there does seem to be a very dark undercurrent running under the town of Delphi.

Kim: This is an article cited from another site about Registered Sex Offenders (RSO’s) and meat-packing plants. It may not be relevant to the crime, but it paints a grittier picture of the Delphi area.

They’ve got men designated “sexually violent offenders” working on their kill floor & it doesn’t seem to occur to them that in that particular field of employment, it’s not necessarily a good thing to hire people who might be enjoying their work.

Holy crap!

Killing for a Living: Psychological and Physiological Effects of Alienation of Food Production on Slaughterhouse Workers

By Anna Dorovskikh University of Colorado at Boulder

http://scholar.colorado.edu/cgi/view…xt=honr_theses

In Perpetration-Induced Traumatic Stress: The Psychological Consequences of Killing, the study by Rachel M. MacNair describes Perpetration-Induced Traumatic Stress as a from of post-traumatic stress disorder with symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse, panic, depression, paranoia, dissociation, anxiety, and depression stemming from the act of killing.

One study found that slaughterhouse workers, especially those responsible for the direct delivery of the act of killing and participating in the process of slaughter on a daily basis, may be susceptible to PITS as form of PTSD (Dillard, 2008).

One of the symptoms of PITS is having recurring dreams of violent acts, and there are several reports of workers being taken to the mental hospital for treatment of severe cases (Dillard, 2008). Certain jobs like having the responsibility to be the first to kill the animal may have stronger effects on the worker than other jobs. Oftentimes substance abuse of drugs such as methamphetamine (Schlosser, 2002) and alcohol is very common amongst slaughter employees as a coping mechanisms of the emotional toll (Dillard, 2008).

A former hog-sticker (worker who stabs hogs to bleed to death) said, “A lot of the slaughterhouse hog killers have problems with alcohol. They have to drink, they have no other way of dealing with killing live, kicking animals all day long. If you stop and think about it, you’re killing several thousand beings a day” (Dillard, p. 397, 2008).

Another employee explains that slaughter workers can’t care about animals they’re killing.

“The worst thing, even worse than the physical danger, is the emotional toll of the job. If you work in that stick pit for any period of time, you develop an attitude that lets you kill things but doesn’t let you care. You may look a hog in the eye that’s walking around down in the blood pit with you, and think, God, that really isn’t a bad-looking animal. You may want to pet it. Pigs down on the kill floor have come up and nuzzled me like a puppy. Two minutes later I had to kill them by beating beat them to death with a pipe.

Use of a pipe to kill hogs came up quite a few times reading through literature and general websites. Another employee interviewed said: “It’s called `piping.’ All the drivers use pipes to kill hogs that can’t go through the chutes. Or if you get a hog that refuses to go in the chutes and is stopping production, you beat him to death. Then push him off to the side and hang him up later” (Eisnitz, p. 53, 2009).

Some employees even report killing animals for fun without feeling any remorse, suggesting that they are suffering psychological damage to the point of developing abnormal cruelty. Mental changes of this sort would generate concern amongst the general population (Dillard, 2008).

Several studies on empathy amongst farmers in animal agriculture show that slaughterhouse workers and farmers exhibit lower levels of empathy towards animals than the general population. Desensitization was not an uncommon factor amongst the employees of this sector (Dillard, 2008).

A study done on butchers working in the slaughterhouse and retail meatpacking business revealed that as butchers work in a negative environment almost every single day, they displayed the highest levels of somatization and anger hostility among the general occupation of butchery. Once factors like age and education were accounted for, this study of 82 male butchers found higher rates of work accidents, injuries, physical disorders, use of alcohol and drugs, as well as a higher employee turnover (Emhan et al. 2012).

Usually fully aware of the kills that go on every single day, the workers either become very distressed and leave the job or they become numb and begin to display signs of apathy. Some even begin to enjoy the infliction of pain (Helle 2012). Some become less empathetic under conditions of stress as well. See this example:

“This is kind of hard to talk about. You’re under all this stress, all this pressure. And it really sounds mean, but I’ve taken prods and stuck them in their (hogs’) eyes and held them there.” (Eisnitz, p. 53, 2009).

Lower empathy in slaughterhouse workers may be responsible for higher crime rates in neighborhoods where such facilities are located including homicides carried out in a manner of animal slaughtering practices (Dillard, 2008). Amy Fitzgerald, a sociologist investigating the effects of slaughterhouses on communities tested a “Sinclair effect,” a theory Upton Sinclair proposed more than 100 years ago, noting that slaughterhouses had negative effects on workers and communities through increases in crime and unemployment rates.

Mexifornia: What a City Overrun with Hispanic Illegal Aliens Looks Like

My city in the Central Valley of California is frankly completely overrun with illegal aliens. However, the city is not as devastated as you think. This is one of the largest agricultural regions in the US if not the world. Most if not all Mesoamerican illegal immigrants in this town are deployed in agriculture as field workers, where they get up early in the morning, take buses to work every day and then come home in the afternoon. These are hardworking men who work a full 40 hour week if not more at very difficult work, and they do not have much time or inclination to cause problems.

Furthermore, although it is little discussed, one reason that the illegal immigrant crime rate is not higher than it is is that many illegals are totally paranoid of law enforcement, live under the radar as much as possible and are terrified of deportation. As such many of them try very hard to obey the law as much as possible, as getting in trouble with police could lead to deportation. These people are more or less hiding and trying not to make waves or call attention to themselves.

If you talk about illegal aliens loudly around here, the Mexicans act like they want to fight you. It is a very emotional issue with them, and most of them are either illegals themselves, once were, or have family or friends who are illegals or once were.

A while back, many Mexican-Americans opposed the illegals. Now they all support them. There is nothing good about the illegals. Most are not bad people (I assume, or at least the ones I see them around here a lot, as this is a migrant labor town), but on the other hand, there is nothing positive about them. They are just poor, uneducated, backwards and not very smart working class and peasant types from the 3rd World. It’s not a first world population.

When a town goes from White to Hispanic as the illegals flood in:

The wages crash, all of the “jobs Whites won’t do,” which were actually all being done by Whites, disappear, as there is mass displacement of mostly working class Whites from low level jobs.

There really are no jobs Whites won’t do unless it’s working in the fields, and around here there are countless legal Hispanics working in the fields. It’s a lie that it’s all illegals in the fields. Migrant workers come here, get legalized, and then keep working in the fields because this is what they have always done.

Also it often pays by piecework now, so the Hispanics can often make a lot of money out in the fields. There is a corresponding rise in meth use by migrant workers in order to do their piecework faster. Mexican legal immigrants with green cards and Mexican-American US citizens (there are huge numbers of these people around here) continue to work in the fields as this is what they have always done. At times even the children of illegals (US citizens), who incidentally were often gang-associated, work in the fields! Around here I know a number of former gang associates aged 18-23 who are now happily working in the fields, as this is young man’s work. They are US citizens, born in the US.

Yes, Whites won’t work in the fields, but Mexicans will, and that includes illegal, legal and citizen Mexicans.

The crime rate rises as illegals displace working class Whites.

Housing becomes scarce and prices rise as illegals cause a demand rise in housing prices.

Gangs proliferate, usually the children of the illegals and not the illegals themselves. It’s a lie that illegals are criminals or mostly criminals. Most are workers, and they often work very hard. They are simple, backwards peasants from a 3rd World country who have no business in a first world country. The criminal and gang element instead comes from the children of the illegals.

Crime is often property crime. Business that hardly had a break-in before now suffer very frequent burglaries. A lot of the property crime is petty as Mexicans tend to be two-bit, penny ante, low value thieves who prefer to steal little stuff like a $25 hubcap or a $30 phone charger. You must lock your doors in a Mexican town or your car will be burglarized because Mexicans love to break into cars. After several years in a Mexican town, all of your hubcaps will be stolen because Mexicans steal hubcaps.

There is some violent crime in my town but not a whole lot. Most serious violent crime like homicide is done by legal residents, often gang member children of illegals. I am not aware of much sex crime around here. I know one guy who suffered an attempted robbery at 9:30 PM, but it was a cheap penny ante shakedown by an unarmed teenage gang type US citizen who did not even have the knife he claimed to have.

There are also beatings, muggings and robberies of paisas, which is what the illegal migrant workers are called around here. These happen from 10 PM-3 AM. The muggings are carried out by local gang members and associates. Paisas are targeted because they carry large amounts of cash around with them and are often walking around very drunk late at night carrying up to a couple hundred dollars. Roll a drunken paisa in an alleyway at 3 AM and score $200. That’s the typical violent crime around here. I do not think that the drunken paisas are injured very often in these robberies. The gangsters just knock them down and take their money. They want the money. They don’t want to seriously hurt them.

Anyway, when a city goes from White to illegal Hispanic, there is a transformation that might be best termed a decline. There is a general decline in the city or town that is hard to put your finger on, but is a combination of all of the things above. The decline is not severe or catastrophic, and many Hispanic towns are quite livable, but that fall is quite notable. I do not understand why we need to import a population that causes a decline in towns and cities. Why?

It would be wrong to say the Mexicans recreate Mexico because they do not. The resulting city is typically not Mexico Norte. Why this is is not known, but it seems just living in the US causes Mexicans to act a lot better than they act in Mexico. People assimilate to culture. In Mexico, Mexicans assimilate to a horrible culture called Mexican culture. Here they assimilate more towards a much better culture called American culture. They do not fully assimilate upwards, but it’s good enough. Instead what you end up with is what I might call “a somewhat upgraded version of Mexico.” It’s not the nightmare horror called Mexico, but it’s neither that great city on the hill called the USA. It’s something in between.

The city remains livable especially if there are still quite a few Whites (particularly moneyed Whites) around to keep the ship afloat. In such cases, there are enough Whites around to more or less run things and keep the show from badly falling apart, which is what typically happens in California when a town nears 100% Hispanic. I live in an agricultural region, and many of the White farmers around here are wealthy. There are farmer mini-mansions on the outskirts of town. At 25-30% White, an Hispanic town full of illegals is still livable if some of the Whites have money.

The Whites have enough competence and money to keep the show running, and they encourage competence in the Hispanic employees and citizens below them by example. Hispanics are not necessary bad citizens or employees, but they need guidance. As long as a city has that certain level Whites around to maintain society and keep the Hispanics acting pretty good by example, the decline is quite attenuated.

Aryan Brotherhood – Texas!

Great video on the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas! These are some hardcore, badass mofos. They are quite a bit more racist than the national AB, which has abandoned most of its hardcore racism in favor of simply being a business enterprise. In fact, the national AB cooperates with Hispanic and Black gangs in order to further the goals of their organized crime gang – to make money!

The AB-Texas is quite a bit more hardcore, though recently they have been cooperating with Mexican drug cartels in order to import methamphetamine to Texas. AB-Texas is one of the most violent AB gang factions in the US, and they have been implicated in quite a few homicides, including killings of cops and district attorneys.

I do not like these guys at all; I just find prison gangs fascinating.

Drugs, Inc.: San Francisco

Fascinating documentary about speed, crank, meth or methamphetamine in San Francisco. Centers on the Tenderloin, a famous rundown area near downtown. When I go to San Francisco, I like to hang out in a place called SOMA, or South of Market. It’s pretty seedy like the Tenderloin, but it’s not nearly as bad or dangerous. It’s been gentrifying a lot in recent years.

I didn’t know they were rocking meth up to cook it into ice and that the cooking procedure was rather complex. I must say that I have never smoked ice. However, I have snorted methamphetamine about 3 times. The last two times, the crash was so horrific that I said never again. Your whole body feels like a sack of bones and your brain feels like a Vietnamese rainforest after it’s been sprayed with Agent Orange. Screw this drug! Why does anyone take it anyway?

I thought it was interesting that a number of Blacks at least in the Tenderloin are using meth, at least in the form of ice. Blacks have typically used crack cocaine instead of meth, but maybe the fact that ice is smoked like crack makes it more attractive to Blacks. Otherwise, meth has traditionally been a White drug.

Some drugs are White drugs and others are more Black drugs. Whites typically go in for hallucinogens like psilocybin mushrooms and LSD, while Blacks to not like to use these drugs. However, Blacks have always used PCP more than Whites have. Both races go in for heroin at about equal rates as heroin is a pretty big drug in the hood. Cannabis is probably equally popular also among Blacks and Whites.

When it comes to cocaine, Whites have typically preferred to sniff it or ever shoot it, while Blacks have preferred to smoke it as crack. However, for some time now, many Whites have been smoking crack too. In addition, pills like Oxycontin seem to be a White drug. MDMA, ketamine and other club drugs are used by Whites and generally shunned by Blacks.

“Counterfeit Cash,” by Alpha Unit

In Memphis, Tennessee, two early morning Black Friday shoppers were arrested for passing counterfeit bills. Police confiscated a total of about $1,600 in fake bills, computer equipment to make fake bills, and methamphetamine.

The circumstances are similar to earlier cases, such as the case in Oklahoma City in which two people were arrested after a raid at their home. Police found large amounts of marijuana, cocaine, and methamphetamine, along with several sheets of counterfeit 20-dollar bills.

Materials and equipment for making fake currency were found in a home in Santa Rosa, California, during a raid. In addition to counterfeit bills the police found drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.

Not that long ago counterfeiting was a difficult and expensive operation. The best counterfeiters were skilled printers who used heavy offset presses to turn out pretty convincing 20s, 50s, and 100s. Doing so required the ability to cut intricate designs by hand into metal plates. Not anymore. A lot of teenagers in this country can tell you that all you need to make fake money nowadays are a PC, a scanner, and color inkjet printer. (Of course, those teenagers are usually caught in no time, since it’s not easy to produce truly authentic-looking bills.)

In case after case of counterfeiting you will see drug use implicated – particularly methamphetamine. Meth addicts often steal mail and commit other property crimes to get their hands on the money they need for their habit. They can stay awake and focused on repetitive tasks for days, making them good at such crimes as forgery, identity theft, altering checks, and trying to perfect counterfeit currency.

Millions of dollars worth of counterfeit cash is supposed to be in circulation in the United States, and there’s usually an uptick in detection during the holidays. Counterfeiters see this as the ideal time to try to pass fake bills; that’s when they think they’re more likely to get away with it. A business that ends up with counterfeit bills doesn’t get compensated for the loss and usually raises prices to make up for it.

If you end up with a counterfeit bill, the US Secret Service wants you to tell them. They say to notify your local police department or the nearest Secret Service field office. There’s no financial compensation for turning it in, though. Central banks say that to do so would subsidize counterfeiting, providing a financial reward for counterfeiters’ criminal behavior. Turning it in is just another civic duty.

Alcohol/Drugs and Brain Damage

Repost from the old site.

For those who are worried, I would add a few pointers from my own life. I’ve been using drugs and drinking, one or the other or both, recreationally, for almost 40 years, and my health is superb. Of course, as with all things, moderation is the key.

There were some wild binges of drinking and/or drug use where I thought, “Wow, this time I have definitely damaged my brain for sure!”

At that time, I just stopped using whatever it was that had me worried and waited for a bit, and it seemed that at some point, all my brains came back, and then some. In some cases, I a number of cases, I had to wait for 3-10 days (average ~1 week), but in one case, it took a month to get back to where I was.

After almost 40 years, you would think that I would be getting more and more fried by the year, but it’s just not so. To be quite honest, in many ways, it seems like I am smarter than I have ever been.

Furthermore, no one who meets me or knows me ever thinks I am stupid in any way whatsoever. It is quite the opposite. Not trying to brag here but people regularly say things like, “You’re are one of the smartest people I know.” I don’t think they would say that if I was fried.

When you exercise or play sports, they say listen to your body. With drinking and drugs, that too, but also listen to your brain. If things start seeming foggy, slow down for a bit and see if things clear up. Most if not all cases of permanent damage from this stuff have occurred from people who did not heed the warnings and careened right on ahead.

To summarize my writings on the subject:

Methamphetamine and Ecstasy are terrible for the brain, Ecstasy so bad you should not take it even one time. PCP is quite bad for your brain and probably ketamine is too. You can play around with any of those drugs a dozen or so times in a lifetime (and possibly more), and you won’t suffer any permanent damage. Any more than that, and things get a lot dicier.

Heroin is easy on the brain but nasty in any other way. Opium, and all opiates, are also harmless to the brain but can be addicting. Use must be judicious and occasional, if at all. In particular, don’t mix with other downers. Long term alcoholic drinking permanently damages the brain.

With less heavy drinking, the permanence of damage is much less clear. At low levels, drinking causes no damage whatsoever. The widespread notion, proffered even by many doctors, that each drink “kills brain cells” is utter nonsense.

Cannabis, marijuana or hashish is one drug that can be used even very heavily by adults with minimal permanent effects on the brain. Occasional use by adults seems to be completely harmless to your brain. The question of brain damage by very heavy cannabis use has not yet been resolved, but even if it occurs, most of it seems  to clear up on cessation.

Daily use of small amounts by adults can occur for years with apparently minimal damage. Any damage that occurs has not yet been proven, but if it exists, it seems to be quite subtle, and I am uncertain how significant it is.

Unfortunately, for minors, the question of little to no damage is much less firm, such that I recommend that anyone wait at least until they are 18 to begin using cannabis.

Of all of the drugs of abuse, as far as heavy use goes, cannabis is by far the easiest of them all on your brain.

People Are Getting High on Bath Salts

Here.

Actually it is some kind of designer drug being sold over the counter as a bath salts or plant food. Apparently you can use them for those purposes and they work just fine and don’t get you high. You sniff it inject it or smoke it. The drugs in question are mephedrone and methylenedioxypyrovalerone, also known as MDPV.

Apparently these are stimulants something like methamphetamine, but I don’t know much about them. Looks like a pretty crappy and evil drug, I would say. It’s mostly in Louisiana right now for some reason, and the state has banned the sale of the drugs. But the Feds have not banned them yet since they are not marketed for human consumption. Banning them will take some time. Most users are apparently meth users looking for a new high.

I increasingly agree with the Neurosoup girl on Youtube. She hates meth, cocaine, PCP and heroin. She comes right out and says that they are crappy and evil drugs. She doesn’t like alcohol either. She’s up on marijuana and what she calls entheogens, which is something like hallucinogens.

If a lot of the people using coke, meth, alcohol and heroin started using pot and entheogens instead, our society would look a lot different. I would say that the damage from drugs would go way down. The hallucinogens are somewhat self-limiting in use. They are so strong, and people are so afraid and paranoid of them that people tend to only use them for a short period of time. People want a drug they can get high on regularly.

My generation promoted the use of coke and to some extent speed. I would say we screwed up bad on that one. Those drugs are just crap.

One thing I always hated about drugs were the anti-drug morons. They’re still everywhere; in fact, they’re the majority. Instead of being sensible like the Neurosoup Girl and dividing recreational drugs into different classes, the anti-drug morons just lump them all into one great big mess. They’re all the same. They’re all dope, and they’re all evil. Weed is meth is heroin is coke is LSD is mushrooms. It’s nuts.

I had to deal with this all the time while growing up as a pothead. As a pothead, I was said to be “into drugs” and was lumped in with PCP users, cokeheads, meth freaks and heroin addicts. It was all the same.

To some extent, this was true of drug users too. They weren’t so stupid as to think all drugs are the same – no user is that stupid – but since pot was illegal, and you had to deal with illegal drug users to get it, a lot of pot users were also using and promoting the use of other stuff, often along the lines that the other drug was as easy and safe as pot. Pure pot users were quite rare.

Legalizing pot would put it in the class as alcohol. How many people have you met who drink, often a lot, but won’t touch any “drugs” (LOL)? Lots. Making weed legal would increase the number of pure pot users who don’t mess with other stuff.

One thing I noticed that is people, often the older generation, will talk about someone who ruined their life on drugs, often the son or daughter of a friend. Often I will ask, “What kind of drugs?” A legitimate question, right? After all, I’m an old drug fiend, so I’m very interested in details like that! I always get this frustrated response, “I don’t know!” as if it doesn’t matter. Ok, so they got into weed, is that right? Is that how they ruined their lives? This is more of the, “All drugs are the same,” BS. Very frustrating dealing with this moronitude.
