Identity Politics or Tribalism Was Behind Many of the Most Horrific and Genocidal Crimes of the 20th Century

Zamfir: “Having a collective interest is not the same thing as a hard and fast identity like race, ethnic group, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or even religion.”

Okay, I didn’t understand that “identity” for you has to do with only these kinds of characteristics. But then I’d put it this way: Any group of people that share collective interests can have good reasons to organize politically in defense of their interests. It doesn’t matter whether the reason has to do with their “identity” in your sense or instead something less “hard and fast” such as economic class.

Because people who organize around more banal everyday political issues are typically not as insane and flat out deranged, homicidal, paranoid, hypersensitive and even genocidal as IP types? I mean do you see Democrats running around screaming about the Republicans “They hate us! They hate us! They’re out to kill us! We need to fight back!” Do you see environmentalists or pro-abortion people saying that anti-environmentalists and anti-abortion people, “They hate us! They hate us! They oppress us and dominate us! They’re out to kill us!”

Ordinary politics is not tribal like IP is. Few people would say they are member of a tribe called Democrats, Social Democrats, Bolivarians, Sandinistas, environmentalists, gun control activists, anti-free trade types, anti- or pro-immigration activists, liberals, workers, or poor or low income people? Hell no.

And the people in the paragraph above don’t scream, carry on, act paranoid, have a huge chip on their shoulder and accuse everyone of hating them all the time.

Haven’t you noticed that IP people are all insane? They all say my group is completely innocent and good, and we are being persecuted, oppressed and dominated by this evil other group. They’re all hypersensitive to any slights, always accusing everyone of hating them. They hate us! They hate us! They hate us! They’re trying to kill us!

And there’s often genocidal language, sometimes towards the hated group and other times it’s, “They’re trying to kill of us!” Often it’s “they’re trying to kill all of us…we need to kill all of them!”Haven’t you noticed that IP people are all insane?

They all say my group is completely innocent and good and we are being persecuted, oppressed and dominated by this evil other group. They’re all hypersensitive to any slights, always accusing everyone of hating them. They hate us! They hate us! They hate us! They’re trying to kill us! And there’s often genocidal language, sometimes towards the hated group and other times it’s, “They’re trying to kill of us!” Often it’s “they’re trying to kill all of us…we need to kill all of them!”

Before the Tutus slaughtered 800,000 Tutsis, the radio played non-stop that the Tutsis had just murdered the Hutu president and were organizing a war to kill all the Hutus. The solution? Kill them first. Remember Hitler said the Jews are trying to kill us all? Solution? Kill them first. Notice how the Israelis are always screaming that their enemies are exterminationist Nazi type anti-Semites? They’re out to kill us all! Solution? Oppress them, dominate them, wage war on them, kill their soldiers and their politicians, assassinate their leaders.

Can’t you realize that almost all of the horrible things that are going on today are all based on IP to some degree or another. In the ME, they are slaughtering each other over religion or even factions of a religion or even factions of factions.

In Turkey, this is behind Turkey’s war on the Kurds and their conquest and annexation of Syrian land to expand the “Turkish nation.” The ethnic cleaning wars of the Balkans were all wrapped up in IP. The Islamist insurgencies in the Caucasus, Turkestan, Thailand, Sudan, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Egypt, Nigeria, India and to some extent Syria and Iraq are Islamist jihads against the infidels; in the cases of Nigeria and Sudan, take exterminationist proportions.
The Hindu Buddhists wage an exterminationist jihad against the Hindu Tamils. The Myanmar Buddhists wage an exterminationist jihad against the Rohinga.

The Hindus oppress the Muslims of Kashmir and wage war on them. The Jews oppress the non-Jews of Palestine and wage war on them and conquer and annex their land. Muslims and Christians wage exterminationist wars against each other in the Congo. In Rwanda, Burundi and Zaire, Hutus, and Tutsis wage exterminationist wars against each other.

Saddam said the Persians were plotting to kill all the Arabs (and most Sunni Arabs still say that the Iranians are plotting to at least conquer all the Arabs). Solution? Kill the Iranians first. The Young Turks started their jihad against the Armenians by saying that the Armenians were plotting to kill all the Turks. Solution? Kill the Armenians. Similar things were said of Greeks and Assyrians. Solution? Kill 500,000 Greeks and Assyrians before they can kill us first.

Nazism was nothing but Aryan Germanic IP against non Aryans such as Gypsies, Jews and Slavs.

The war in Northern Ireland is a pure IP war.

Notice how all of these groups employ the IP extremism – “They’re trying to kill us all so we need to oppress/kill of them first!” Our tribe is 100% good, theirs is evil. We are defensive; they wage offensive war against us. They are haters and racists and we are not. They hate us!  They hate us! They hate us! You hate us! You hate us!

Notice how paranoid they all are and how hypersensitive they are to any slight and how they all immediately accuse you of hating them if you even look at them wrong? Notice the insane, “They hate us! They hate us!” all the while when the people screaming about people hating them are horrific haters themselves. But their hate and racism/bigotry is good and justified and the other people’s hate and bigotry is evil. We just want liberation and to be free! They want to oppress us and dominate us!

IP turns genocidal and exterminationist or at least slaughtering quite easily.

‘do you see Democrats running around screaming about the Republicans “They hate us! They hate us! They’re out to kill us! We need to fight back!”’

Well, yeah I do see that. All the time! Isn’t that pretty much what people are saying when they say (over and over) that Trump is “literally Hitler”, that everyone who voted for him is a fascist Nazi white supremacist? On my FB feed I see all kinds of viciously demented paranoid stuff coming from Democrats that is, yes, very much this–that Republicans are filled with hate and want to harm everyone else. You really haven’t seen this? If you want specific examples I could give you many, but I think everyone has noticed these kinds of attitudes by now. No?

My sense is that internet-age politics is like this all around. Pretty much every community has a significant sub-set of people who act as if everyone on the other team is a psychopathic Nazi. I really don’t think this is limited to IP communities, though I’d allow that a lot of it probably started there. The craziest wing of the Democratic community just is an IP movement. That’s where you find the people who love BLM and transgenderism and radical feminism, who want to “Punch a Nazi”, etc. These are Democrats, and yes they are often hysterical and (it appears) violently angry. Sure, not all Democrats are like that. But not all reactionaries or white IP people are like that either.

“people who organize around more banal everyday political issues are typically not as insane and flat out deranged, homicidal, paranoid, hypersensitive and even genocidal as IP types”

If everyday political issues include things like economics, this seems plainly false. Lots of old-fashioned economic leftists were deranged, homicidal and even genocidal. (You obviously know enough about the USSR or Communist Hungary that I don’t need to go into detail.) Any kind of political ideology that inspires people with a noble vision is going to also attract lunatics and psychopaths and sadists who want excuses for their bad behavior. I really don’t think the historical record bears out this claim that political movements based on “identity politics” are worse in this respect. The Soviets and the Khmer Rouge were every bit as vicious as the Nazis.

“Haven’t you noticed that IP people are all insane? They all say my group is completely innocent and good, and we are being persecuted, oppressed and dominated by this evil other group. They’re all hypersensitive to any slights, always accusing everyone of hating them. They hate us! They hate us! They hate us! They’re trying to kill us!”

No, I haven’t noticed this because I am one of these people and I’m not like that at all. At least I am one of these people according to your definition of IP. Do I strike you as “insane” or “hypersensitive”? Did I ever say that my race or sex was “completely innocent and good”. That’s ridiculous. I’m saying that it’s okay for people like me to pursue our collective interests politically (within the bounds of basic morality). Period. And I have noticed that there are lots and lots of people out there like me. I’d include people in some IP movements I’m not part of. There are some reasonable people doing black IP or gay IP. Why do you want to make these very extreme exaggerated claims about all of these people? I think you’re doing what you accuse us of doing: you’re demonizing us, pathologizing us, reducing us to some caricature. Some of us are just normal people with a slightly different take on the nature of politics.

    • “‘do you see Democrats running around screaming about the Republicans “They hate us! They hate us! They’re out to kill us! We need to fight back!”’”

“Well, yeah I do see that. All the time!”

No one says that. We don’t complain that they hate us. We know they do and we don’t care. Anyway, we hate them back so it’s fair.

But you are correct that US politics is getting more tribally based and hence resembling tribal IP. IP is just tribalism. Nationalism is also based on tribalism, and tribalism is inherently irrational.

Further, Democrats sound rational when they are against Trump and the Republicans. If anything, they’re not mad enough. These people are monsters. That’s what they are. And every year they get worse and worse. We don’t think they are coming out to murder us though lol. And we don’t think their hatred of us is evil. They can hate us all they want, and anyway, we hate them so all’s fair. This looks like two hostile groups who are still rational. Anyway, we don’t think we are 100% good. We bash our own side just as much.

“Isn’t that pretty much what people are saying when they say (over and over) that Trump is “literally Hitler”, that everyone who voted for him is a fascist Nazi white supremacist?”

It’s an exaggeration and there are some irrational elements. It’s ok to get heated about politics. It’s an important matter. It’s what you literally believe. You are fighting about what kind of society to have. No Democrat is organizing based on how they were born or something they can’t change. It’s about what we do and not what we are. We weren’t born Democrats. Got some news for you. Your identity is not that important.

Trump is on the fascist spectrum, and White racism was a serious factor in his rise. Of course this is exaggerated but the way it has been for some time is that any White rational interests are pegged as pure White Supremacist Nazism. That view, modern anti-racism, is an IP. So you are hearing some IP in there and that’s why it sounds crazy.

They can’t figure out that Whites might have some interests without being full on White Supremacist KKK Nazis. And some of his supporters are White nationalists. And these people all still support him, 100%, because he is pushing a blatantly White racist message. Look at Jeff Sessions. This administration is ugly. All White racists voted Trump. Not all Trump supporters are White racists but for sure all White racists support Trump.

You’re not thinking properly if you think this looks like IP.

On my FB feed I see all kinds of viciously demented paranoid stuff coming from Democrats that is, yes, very much this–that Republicans are filled with hate and want to harm everyone else.

Some of them have gone overboard like any politics. But it’s ok to fight about what you believe. For Chrissake, it’s not ok for fight about what you were born as. That’s insane.

And I never hear Democrats saying they are out to kill us. Of course there project will harm people; that’s obvious.

      “You really haven’t seen this?”

The Resistance is somewhat nutty like most passionate politics, but basically the discourse is based on reason, being differences of opinion. Sure it’s irrational for one side to say we are good and the other side is evil, but it makes more sense because we are talking about what people believe, not how well they picked their parents.

Pretty much every community has a significant sub-set of people who act as if everyone on the other team is a psychopathic Nazi.

Well that is because US politics is getting vicious and tribal.

“Haven’t you noticed that IP people are all insane?”

Well go hang out at the White nationalist sites on the Alt Right. I did for years. And yeah, they’re all insane. The ones like you are not on there or they are 1%. I have only met one other one like you so far.

” Do I strike you as “insane” or “hypersensitive”?”

You are obsessed. And anyway the ones like you are like 1%. You are obsessed with grievance and vengeance and you are somewhat paranoid. You chase phantoms.

“There are some reasonable people doing black IP or gay IP.”

Haven’t met one yet. Yeah there are political Blacks but they are not doing Black IP like BLM. All gays are IP loons now. They’re all SJW radicals, to a one. And all Black people are IP in a sense. Can you ever mention one single bad thing about Black people without them flipping out, telling you to shut up, or calling you racist? Nope. They are beyond critique. And so are gays. So both of these groups are more or less lost to IP.

“Why do you want to make these very extreme exaggerated claims about all of these people?”

Because I have spent years around these people, and this is exactly what they are like. I’ve seen it a million times. I don’t need to prove it anymore, and it’s not exaggerated.

“I think you’re doing what you accuse us of doing: you’re demonizing us, pathologizing us, reducing us to some caricature.”

You can’t demonize or pathologize a lunatic psycho. And it’s not a caricature. Like I said, I have been reading these people all day for years.

      • Zamfir

Well, I’m not “a lunatic psycho”. I have a family and a decent job. I’ve never been in prison. I have advanced degrees. I function pretty well in the world and get along pretty well with most people. So obviously it is possible for you to demonize or pathologize someone like me.

There are a fair number people concerned with the collective interests of Europeans or men (or whatever) who are obviously not “lunatic psychos”. Millenial Woes, Frame Game or–someone you mentioned earlier–Brandon Adamson. I don’t think Jared Taylor is a “lunatic psycho”. You know him, I guess, so maybe you’ll correct me; he seems perfectly rational and decent to me.

And some of these guys have a lot of followers, who are presumably not all “lunatic psychos”. (If they were, wouldn’t they be over at Stormfront or some place like that?) In any case there’s a distinction between people and positions. There have been a lot of lunatic psychos on the socialist left, but I assume you don’t think that discredits socialism.

“The Resistance is somewhat nutty like most passionate politics, but basically the discourse is based on reason, being differences of opinion. Sure it’s irrational for one side to say we are good and the other side is evil, but it makes more sense because we are talking about what people believe, not how well they picked their parents.”

This seems like a clear double standard. You’re saying it’s okay for the anti-Trump people to be “somewhat nutty” because this is just the nature of “passionate politics”. Well, okay. Why can’t I say the same about the more extreme and nutty forms of identity politics? That’s also “passionate politics”. And it’s “based on reason” as well.

It’s reasonable to care about the interests of your ethnic or religious community, for example, just as it’s reasonable to care about your family (or your economic class). And then you can use reason to figure out how to advance the interests of your community. As long as you’re not trying to do something that unjustly harms others, that’s perfectly reasonable and moral.

And of course that has nothing to do with “talking about … how well they picked their parents”. That’s a straw man. If a bunch of Armenians organize to defend their ethnic interests, that doesn’t mean they hate others or want to oppress others just for being not-Armenian.

It does mean that they have some sense of solidarity with their co-ethnics, and a special concern for their own group, but what’s wrong with that? To me it seems like a natural and inevitable part of human life that people have these identities and loyalties.

        • “There are a fair number people concerned with the collective interests of Europeans or men (or whatever) who are obviously not “lunatic psychos”. Millennial Woes, Frame Game or–someone you mentioned earlier–Brandon Adamson.”

Millennial Woes is basically a Nazi. Brandon is rational, but he’s all caught up in race. Why?! The guy’s as liberal as I am, but he will vote Republican for the rest of his life. How is that rational?

Taylor is pretty damn slick. The thing about Taylor is you need to listen to him a pretty long time or get to know him personally on a one to one basis. His racism is mostly hidden and he seems very reasonable. But he slips up. He did on an interview with me and in an email or two with me. He’s racist all right. It’s just hidden very well most of the time, and very cleverly too I might add. Taylor seems harmless. But that’s the problem, right? I hate to compare Taylor to a Nazi, but remember Eichmann. He seemed harmless too. Those are the scariest ones of all because they are extremists but they seem harmless and rational so they can get into power.

His website, American Renaissance, is not rational at all and most of the articles and especially the posters fall into exactly the portrayal I made in that post you don’t like. There’s hardly a sane poster on there. John Engelman is pretty close.

“And some of these guys have a lot of followers, who are presumably not all “lunatic psychos”.”

Taylor’s followers are all White nationalists, and in my opinion, they are all nuts. These people are just what we used to call White Supremacists. They just rebranded themselves.

“(If they were, wouldn’t they be over at Stormfront or some place like that?)”

They’re the same people. MW and his followers are Stormfronters more or less, and Taylor’s followers are just a nicer version of Stormfronters. Further, Taylor is very close to Don Black, who runs Stormfront.

“There have been a lot of lunatic psychos on the socialist left, but I assume you don’t think that discredits socialism.”

We are going to persecute the reactionaries for their view” makes a lot more sense than “we are going persecute the Blacks for being born Black.” It’s certainly valid to attack people’s political views.

I go to Marxist discussion sites, and many of the people there sound quite reasonable. It’s surely valid to have views on this stuff. Makes a lot more sense than “non-Whites are evil and Whites are good”, “men are evil and women are good,” on and on. At least Marxists are judging people by what they believe in and what policies they propose, on which you have a much better basis to label things good and bad. “Blacks are good and Whites are evil” is just an insane position. But that’s IP.

Further there’s been a lot of discussion lately about the excesses under past Communist regimes. Hence you have reform movements like the Syrian Kurds, the Sandinistas, the Bolivarians, Morales in Bolivia, the FMLN in El Salvador, the former guerillas in power in Brazil and Uruguay. CP’s in Vietnam, Cuba and China are very different from how they were in the past. How many people are the Vietnamese and Chinese people killing nowadays for their political views? None? Marxist and Leftist theory is up for grabs. IP never changes and it attacks people for how they were born.

“This seems like a clear double standard. You’re saying it’s okay for the anti-Trump people to be “somewhat nutty” because this is just the nature of “passionate politics”. Well, okay. Why can’t I say the same about the more extreme and nutty forms of identity politics? That’s also “passionate politics”. And it’s “based on reason” as well.”

Because the anti-Trump resistance is attacking people over what they believe and the proposals they want to implement. That’s a rational thing to get passionate over. They fall into some of the bullshit as the IP people do of course because humans are too dumb or weak to do cognitive dissonance. But there’s a lot of diversity of opinion on the anti-Trump Left. I go to Daily Kos and read the articles and comments, and it’s mostly straight up rational.

Getting passionate about what people believe in and what projects they want to implement is rational – this is what people believe and do. They could change their minds any time they want.

Makes more sense than “women are good and men are evil.” It never makes sense to elevate the group you were born into and hate the group some others were born into. That’s what IP does and they’re not rational about it either. So you are praising your group because you picked the right parents and hating the other group for picking the wrong parents.

“It’s reasonable to care about the interests of your ethnic or religious community, for example, just as it’s reasonable to care about your family (or your economic class).”

If it’s being persecuted, sure. If it’s not, nope. Why is “Methodist” or “Swede” some valid Identity Politics? It’s bullshit. No one is persecuting Methodists or Swedes. What’s there to get political over. People get fucked a lot more for their class than for being men or White or whatever.

“And then you can use reason to figure out how to advance the interests of your community. As long as you’re not trying to do something that unjustly harms others, that’s perfectly reasonable and moral.”

Sure there are reasons to oppose things that are bad for men, or I guess bad for Whites. But can you name one form of politics out there that is going to harm me as a White man? That Republican says he’s for the Whites. I vote for him. Ok, explain to me how that helped me. It’s not a rational basis for a politics. That Republican says he’s for the straights, and I’m straight. How is voting for him going to help me? What’s he going to do? Kill the fags? That politician is against trannies. So am I, more or less. Why should I vote for him? How does voting anti-tranny help me?

Another problem is that once people start organizing on IP, things tend to go bad real fast. Gays, Whites, men, women, trannies, all organized their own IP’s, often for valid reasons. But the movements all went insane real fast, because that’s what IP does. It’s possible to be gay and vote against anti-gays and not be an IP loon. It’s possible to be Black and vote against anti-Blacks and not be an IP loon. Black politics is often try to help the Black community. If you are Black and their proposals will help you, it’s rational to support them. But the Congressional Black Caucus is not IP.

“And of course that has nothing to do with “talking about … how well they picked their parents”.”

Of course it is. All these say they are better because they picked better parents and other people are evil for picking the wrong parents. That’s the nature of IP.

“If a bunch of Armenians organize to defend their ethnic interests, that doesn’t mean they hate others or want to oppress others just for being not-Armenian.”

They have almost zero ethnic interests. They only have one interest and that is against the Turkish government and wanting the US to recognize the genocide. And they want us to support Armenia. Those are rational positions, not Armenian IP. Armenians sound sane when they talk about their interests. Their position is not “Armenians are good and non-Armenians are evil.”

“It does mean that they have some sense of solidarity with their co-ethnics, and a special concern for their own group, but what’s wrong with that?”

Look what happens when Whites, women, men, gays, trannies, Jews, etc. organize their group for their own interests. You get IP insanity every time. There’s no sane way to do this.

“It does mean that they have some sense of solidarity with their co-ethnics, and a special concern for their own group, but what’s wrong with that?”

Tribalism is one of the most evil, backwards, and barbaric tendencies in man.

“Can’t you realize that almost all of the horrible things that are going on today are all based on IP to some degree or another.”

I think this is a really important issue to consider. My view is that a lot of this is based on the problems of identity itself, not “identity politics”. The problem, often, is that we have groups with different identities who are competing for scarce resources, or political power, forced to live together. It’s not realistic to expect people to just forget their heritage, history, language, family, etc.

And so “identity politics” emerges as one manifestation of the underlying conflict. So in my view IP is not the source of the problem but, at worst, it can be a bad way to deal with the problem. Or it can be a new problem that makes the old one worse.

But then I also claim that IP can be a solution, as long as it’s done right. If every group with a stake in the conflict can recognize that other groups also have their own identities and interests, there is a chance to negotiate and settle things more peacefully and fairly.

What’s really bad is the situation we have in the west now, where only some groups are allowed (and encouraged) to practice IP while it’s essentially illegal for the majority. That’s a recipe for disaster. So I say let everyone do it, and recognize everyone else’s right to do it as well. (Because we’re not going to eliminate these identities any time soon.)

    • “If every group with a stake in the conflict can recognize that other groups also have their own identities and interests, there is a chance to negotiate and settle things more peacefully and fairly.”

Yep and that can’t happen with IP types. I would like to point out that IP now is mainstream culture and IP is the Democratic Party itself. So a lot of the insanity you are hearing IS IP. And I know a lot of Democrats who say the Republicans are pure evil and the Democrats are pure good. But those people are irrational too.

“What’s really bad is the situation we have in the west now, where only some groups are allowed (and encouraged) to practice IP while it’s essentially illegal for the majority.”

Yep and IP created this problem. You won’t fix it up by letting Whites, heterosexuals, and men organize for their interests on that basis. You just get White nationalists, MRA loons, and anti-gay assholes. These are all forms of IP.

“So I say let everyone do it, and recognize everyone else’s right to do it as well.”

It’s already happening and it’s not working. MRA’s exist of all types. And they’re all seriously insane. White nationalists and out and out White racists exist. They are not making anything better. Anti-gays exist. They are not making the world better. The more IP, the more things get worse and worse. Figthing IP with IP is not a solution. It’s just an arms race in a war. It’s ugly stuff.

Of course the evil in the world uses victim-hood to justify aggression.

  4. Jason Y

Identity politics isn’t all about killing, but simply preemptive oppression. For instance, if the southern USA fear of raped white women and rioting was one example. It basically gave them the green light, in their view, of imposing Jim Crow. So when anti-racists told them they were immoral having Jim Crow, the idea seemed ludicrous as it was seen as law and order, even before a social custom.

    • Pre-emptive oppression or aggression, which is what a lot of aggression is based on. For instance most wars are waged on exactly this basis, or really they are just wars of aggression but they are always based on “pre-emptive war” which is, ” We need to attack them before they attack us!”

And every time this shitty, awful, horrible monster of a country goes to war, haven’t you noticed that all the propaganda is exactly like this? “They getting ready to attack us! They’re going to attack us! Let’s get them before they get us!”

ALL the media gets in on it, every single outlet. And ALL the cowardly, craven politicians get in on it, every one of them. And almost all of the public intellectuals get in on it, every single one. Every single time we go to war, it’s this stupid ass shit.

This is a democracy? LOL. Really? We are a democracy when it comes to US foreign policy? The Hell we are. We do not have one single dissident or opposition press in the US when it comes to that. Not even one! Even the USSR had a lot of opposition or dissident media. They called it samizdat. How pathetic. The USSR was more democratic and had a more free press than we do.

AMERICA! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! AMERICA! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! AMERICA! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE! WE’RE NUMBER ONE!

Is there anything worse than an American patriotard, which is ~70-75% of us? We are so pathetic.

And the majority of Moronicans fall for it, every single time, without fail. Because Patriotards and American Exceptionalism.

  5. Jason Y

Christian hate is all IP. The whole chick-fil-a thing, the overblown (no pun intended) homophobia where a guy cannot even have long hair in the 2010s, the snobby behavior and attitude.

    • Sort of “Heterosexual IP.” Yeah the insane fear and hatred of gays of the homophobe manifests into them seeing faggots everywhere, and in particular to tidal waves of calling straight people gay when they are not. It’s irrational so it’s a form of insanity.

Anyway, it’s not rational to hate and fear gays the way the homophobe does. I certainly don’t. I don’t really think I’m a homophobe. I have known some out and out homophobic fucks and I don’t act like that. Actually I have been victimized by more or less homophobic people and Straight IP my whole life, so why would act act like my worst enemies? Answer: I don’t.

Straight IP or Heterosexual IP. Good job, Jason! You are on smart drugs today or something?

Never understood the hate against blacks in East Tennessee, which aside from maybe an a few robberies and a near murder at a Waffle House, seems unjustified. So again, it’s IP against blacks, just like against gays – the feeling that if they don’t act racist, hateful, and ignorant – blacks will storm in and colonize the area – I guess from Atlanta or somewhere.

    • Jason Y

As many know, few blacks in East Tennessee, maybe less than 10 percent.

    • We need to get them before they get us.

Hey Jason, you are really onto some really smart and wise stuff here, good job. Keep it up. You are really plugging into some great wisdom about human beings here.

      • Jason Y

Thanks. But Beau-regard thinks it’s paranoia.

      • Jason Y

A lot of this stuff is also conformity I think. It’s just not cool in these backwoods to be a negro-lover, a gay-lover whatever…. And if a certain business or school is incredibly white – you get picked on.

Also, likewise, in a non-white area there is a lot of pressure to engage in IP of whatever race you are, so only multi-cultural areas have such a mix of people where one group doesn’t become too arrogant. But even on a bigger multi-cultural campus, there a lot of hate under the surface and it comes out.

Identity politics will always exist. There are legitimate group interests. Whites like other people also have group interests. It doesn’t have to manifest as ‘hate’ towards others.

    — There is no xuch thing as a human race but THE human race, do basing such concluding on what such do personally observe and do experience, and, on what the scientists say from forensic anthropology and their, and medical, DNA analyses.
    — Believe the majority of pre-Civil War indebtedness of the South is England of a base, not Wall Street. Cotton can sell anywhere, but, England has a cotton priority, in writings, for debt repay. They lose their colonies for money. Many a white southerner hates blacks well before the war because black slavery prevents them from profiting from agriculture, especially of precious cotton. Racism is as southern as anywhere, i.e., has as well a basis by mere difference, as anywhere else, but, has a definite economic begin in the south. Money as well as oddity makes a bad mix? Why otherwise still have the white anti-white phrases as ‘white trash’, ‘poor white’, and ‘hill biliy’ [from billygoat] still in use even today, 2018, even by black people, against certain whites. Also the naming of this writer, as am as a child in the 1950’s, ‘white nigger’ and ‘white trash’ by blacks and whites, publically and in school, in a mainly Irish, Italian, black area. (Am from and of the north, always, since birth.) Never figure it out.

    • Zanfir, your email does not work. I need you to email me as soon as possible please. Thanks. Don’t worry, you are not in trouble.

      • Zamfir

        Hi Robert. Try this one.

      • Zamfir

Woes is “basically” a Nazi? Only if Bernie Sanders is “basically” a Stalinist. There are some similarities. But that’s pretty meaningless.

Woes has never encouraged violence against other races, never even says his group should expand and rule over others, never claims his race is supreme, never says his group is a bunch of victims and others are just evil oppressors.

What exactly are you talking about? He doesn’t have any of the traits you’re assigning to “identity politics” (as you define it. He doesn’t have any of the traits that are bad about Nazis. He is simply a guy who doesn’t want the native population and traditions of his homeland deconstructed by globalism and immigration. If that is “basically” Nazi-ism then I don’t understand what’s wrong with it.

Do you know something about him I don’t?

        • Unless I am remembering this guy wrong, he’s a White Supremacist or Nazi type like Spencer. He’s a White nationalist, is he not?

“never claims his race is supreme, never says his group is a bunch of victims and others are just evil oppressors.”

I seriously doubt any of this because they all say these things.

        • ForbiddenFruit

Woes points are logical. Do you want a bunch of male refugees who have nothing but contempt for you? I sure don’t. Perhaps Mexicans are better but Europeans need to push back a little.

        • That’s fine. You can limit Muslim immigration to your European land all you want. I just don’t see why you have to be a Nazi about it.

I don’t think all preemptive thinking is bad. I mean, if terrorists want to nuke NYC, then wouldn’t we be right to get them first?

Nonetheless, calling long haired guys homosexual isn’t a life or death situation like terrorism. It’s just bullying I think.

Considering the evidence, why wouldn’t we want the alt-right back on Jerry Springer?

Anyway, I wouldn’t consider feminism to be like the alt-right. For one thing, and Bill Marher pointed this out, these freako hippie types have no weapons and have a massively less chance of gaining government power. Also, I’d say the same about other culturally left groups.

Afterthought on Trump’s migrant children/parents separation row and how to ‘invade’ USrael and Europe. Here I refer to border crossing or coast landing. If one can afford air ticket to fly 1000’s of miles, one is not desperately poor.

    1) Lesson learned, bring a kid or 2, even if they’re not legit children of the adult accompanying migrant

    2) Ah ha, the political labeling–why do those (mostly economic) migrants want to move to Europe and Usrael:

Make the political tag multi-dimensional and cut more than one way to improve the chance. Seems being a Leftist or even ‘Marxist’ is no longer a taboo to the PC ‘Left’. Some examples/proposal:

    a) If one is a Muslim who wants a better life or more ‘liberated’ kufr women; since to a sizable % of Usrael/Euro popn, Islam could spell problems, modify ‘Muslim’ as:

    — Homoslem, lesbislamite, pro -Dalai / -Rohingya / -Zionist / -Trump… (take your pick) Muslim

    b) If one is a ‘leftist/Marxist’ say from Latin america/china/Russia/India, claim one has the evidence Xi / Putin / Che Guevara / Modi / Khomeini /Mohamed (take your pick) is/was gay / ET / alien / tranny.

    3) Better still (but group action or preparation needed), claim one is forming a new group, like ‘Revolutionary Gay Iranian Communist Party’ which could be manipulated/funded by CIA. Do some preparation work like pay a presstitute somewhere to post some fake news on the group’s public protest (with some members faking as gov moral cops bashing the protesters).

I mean, we fucking played identity politics in cavemen days! This shit is just human nature. Of course, it shouldn’t be written off at that.
