Review of Quora: Two Thumbs Down

Just posted this review on the Web.

Curiously it is very similar to another terrible review given by a woman who hates Quora for all the same reasons I do. And she’s a liberal just like me! She also says that anyone who criticizes modern feminism, gays, trannies, or Israel gets slapped with endless penalties and eventual bans. There are also reports that conservatives are regularly banned on Quora. There are also some very disturbing reports that Quora bans those who criticize many huge multinational corporations, Big Pharma, Halliburton, the Pentagon, the NSA, the US Presidency, and a host of other things.

This is extremely disturbing and it shows the potential for a truly nightmarish “liberal” Frankenstein: pro US state, pro US foreign policy, pro Pentagon, pro NSA, pro corporation, pro oil industry, pro Big Pharma radical SJW’s on steroids! Wow, that is a Frankenstein that needs to be shot on sight! Load up your 12 gauge and fire on it til it drops!

This is rightwing DNC corporate Democratic Party + US imperialism + Liberal Interventionism (humanitarian bombers) + corporate liberal + national security state + spy agencies + liberal partroidardism (Democratic Presidents’ foreign policy = 100% good) mixed with radical SJWism, which is everything horrific about the Left. The worst of both worlds! In other words, the world of Hillary Clinton and the DNC!

This horror has been going on for a while. A friend of mine got a university degree recently, and boy I am I glad I got mine in the 1970’s and 1980’s! Even the early 1990’s were not so bad. First there was a large section of Diversity Prerequisites, which was a slate of courses that could have been lumped together into a curriculum called White People Are Evil. However, those teaching the courses were pro-corporate, wild free market neoliberals for “open borders and open markets.” They just wanted to let all the minorities, gays, trannies, and women in on the neoliberal greedfest bonanza. “Free borders and free markets,” which is really just the DNC. This is Corporate Liberalism in its most bald, naked, hideous face.

This is the face of the enemy, people. Corporate liberals are not my friends, and they should not be yours.

I am supposed trade a rightwing corporate liberal project involving radical neoliberal and near Libertarian economics, a pro-corporate and anti-labor view, nightmarish free trade agreements everywhere destroying democracy and establishing corporate rule over state rule, and an evisceration of the safety net for a “Left” corporate liberal project involving complete open borders for the Third World to flood in, anti-White persecution and demonization from the minorities, a sexual deviant/pervert/weirdo/ free for all and probable war on straight men from the “non-straight” freakshow, an evisceration of gender to rival the shredding of the safety net from the “nonbinary” bizarros, and a radical feminist Matriarchy and declaration of war on straight men, especially straight White men.

“Sure, Bob, we know the rightwing project is horrible, but look at all those wonderful Cultural Left goodies you get in return! Give up something to get something. Get with it, Bob!”

Get with what? The rightwing vision I will acquire is softened down Ayn Randism. I am supposed to thank God it’s not the real Ayn Randism while multimillionaires Rahm Emanuel (yearly income: 13 million), Obama, and Hillary (yearly income 27 million) throw me a few crumbs “so I don’t starve” while they cruise by in their limos on their way to their next $300,000 speech at Goldman Sachs (no quid pro quo, mind you).

The Left is an SJW Hell on Earth. As a straight White male, there’s nothing there for me except an all out war on the very idea of being normal combined with Calcutta flooding in from the borders combined with a Feminazi dictatorship combined with a war against me from a bunch of identity groups who have singled me out as their enemy identity to be attacked.

Nothing for me on the Left combined with nothing for me on the Right! Great. A real shit sandwich, in other words. The worst of the Left combined with the worst of the Right. How can you not love that? It’s a veritable anti-Panglossian worst of all possible worlds, an Anti-Candide vision writ large.

Crap. Should be called Queera. The most fanatically pro-gay site on the Net. Wildly pro-gay, pro-tranny, pro every sort of sexual orientation and gender bizarreness, off the charts pro-feminist, just disgusting.

Politically, they are also very liberal, which is good in many ways. I just hate the SJW maniacs, and Quora is SJW Central on the web.

The off the charts SJW insanity is bizarrely combined with wild support for the most reactionary Zionism as the site is flooded with Jews and every post about Israel gets bombed by Jewish Israel-firsters. Most of the liberal Gentiles are also wild Zionists too.

So you get the worst of the Right (fanatical support for reactionary settler-colonial imperialism in Israel) combined with the worst of the Left (celebration of radical feminist misandry along with cheering, promotion and proselytizing for every type of non-straight and non-binary sexual or gender bizarreness out there.

Plus the moderators are the worst church lady, prissy, priggish, sanctimonious, ruler slapping SJW nuns around. You will get constantly reported for homophobia, sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, transphobia and other BS. After a while you get ban threats, temp bans, and then i guess they ghost you.

Great liberal site ruined by SJW fanatics and Zionist maniacs, all tied in the wool liberals like me.

Sad!

DOWN WITH QUORA.

I don’t agree that white people are evil, but find it hilarious when alt-right types try to blame it on Jews. No, obviously, at least some white people were highly to blame for it. For instance, they served in Confederate armies and in fact, their ancestors supported every oppression of black people known to man, even keeping fried chicken away from them.

No argument here, but how is National Socialism or even some purported alt-left paradise any different? In other words, the root cause of all this suffering is Big Brother control. Ultimately, family values, freed from oppression should make things more wholesome I think.

But it has to be said, and this is fact, that the Fed (a socialist institution) is always upsetting the natural order causing the economic slowdowns of capitalism. Note, that’s not opinion, but fact.

    • No it doesn’t! Or it doesn’t have to anyway. The Fed is run by rightwingers, keep that in mind. I am a monetarist. The Fed has never caused on recession or depression. A national bank or more than one is an absolute necessity in any economy.

Have you turned into some crazy ultracapitalist neoliberal, Jason?

The only problem with the Fed is it’s run by a bunch of rightwing assholes!

The Fed did a lot of great things under Obama, even though it was run by a dick. Great job all around!

You don’t understand economics one bit, Jason.

      • Jason Y

How does the Fed have anything to do with pure capitalism? It doesn’t. Well, at least, I’m stirring up some fun on this site.

Rightwingers running the Fed? Are they real right-wingers? But then again, I remember a quote on RevLeft.com where the famous poster (forgot his name had the angry red smiley) said that corporations need and want government.

I don’t think the rich are really the problem – but more along the lines that the mixed economy doesn’t work, destroying many, while welfare recipients keep their little checks (something truck driver Republicans resent), government workers (my brother who probably made more money after 2008,) and the rich (who normally ignore the mixed economy by dodging taxes, outsourcing etc..) get away.

    • WTF are you talking about, dude? ALL decent countries have mixed economies and they work just fine. The only alternative is full blown radical neoliberal capitalism, which is more or less Libertarianism or Ayn Randism.

And oh Hell fucking yeah they are. The rich ARE the problem. They are always the problem. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS.

What do you want instead, Jason? You hate welfare, you hate central banks, you hate socialism, you hate mixed economies, you hate government workers…ok…so…You’re a Republican! Or a Libertarian and that’s way worse.

Did you catch a fucking brain virus or something, Jason?!

No just reading a Ron Paul book. 😆 But I don’t know. I’m wondering if his trust in big business is a bit naive. OK, I’m thinking what he really hates are government-favored corporations – but that might be all of them

      • Jason Y

The rich are government collaborators. Though they deny it, they want the status quo. It’s because they get favoritism from the government. But the downfall is when it screws up the stock market – leading to bubbles.

      • Jason Y

Why would the corporations want An Rynd ideas when such ideas would make it a fair ball game In other words, no special protection or investment from the government. For instance, look at Clinton’s dumping of rice on Haiti. OK, that would have been possible if the powerful US government wasn’t behind it.

  4. Jason Y

And Rynd, ironically, is massively hated in business. That is, it would be if they actually practiced her ideas. One of the enemies in her book were government officials wanting special favors – rigging the game. And business is always kissing up to these people. And Rynd’s views, therefore, are as much possible as Puff the Magic Dragon. Because business are massively greedy – in they want to cheat and they normally use government.

Hey Robert, I’m not sure if this is the appropriate thread to ask this, but have you at all studied the Singapore healthcare model versus single payer/Medicare for all? I was all in for single player, but this video completely changed my mind and I think the Singapore model makes the most sense as far as costs, healthcare outcomes and access. The USA spends over 17% of GDP on healthcare, which is massively wasteful. Most countries with single payer are spending around 10-11% of GDP. Singapore spends only 5% and has outcomes better than the countries that spend the most. It’s ranked in the top 3.

If you get a chance, I’d love for you to view this video and share your opinion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRp3veAd234

    • It ain’t that great. The first $200,000-250,000 is apparently on you, after that, the state kicks in. It’s bullshit, and people have to pay big money for that Singapore insurance. In other words, you have to spend yourself into complete poverty before the state kicks in. That’s bullshit. I don’t care how good their figures are. I say it’s a bullshit system.

Personally, I think Singapore, Hong Kong and a lot of the wealthy Arab states are crap. You have only to look at PCI (wealth index) and then the minimum wage. Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and the Arab nations all are very wealthy countries, and their minimum wage is shit tier level.

That implies that there is a huge number of very poor workers living in those countries, probably in some very shitty conditions. It also implies that the wealth in those places is being built up by super-exploitation of those poor people – i.e., paying them shit wages and then charging normal prices for the product and reaping the superprofits. The Europeans and Anglosphere with much higher minimum wages are doing a much better thing.

Fuck Hong Kong. Fuck Singapore. Fuck Taiwan. Fuck South Korea. Fuck the Gulf Arabs. Fuck em all.

According to the professor that is giving that lecture, the first $2,000 is on you in a year. Everything beyond that is basically single payer. The insurance cost to an adult male is astonishingly low, only about $15 a month. I’ve actually been having an email discussion with that professor and he’s been sending me his research docs.

Since people have forced savings through Medisave, they have the money, and prices for services are far lower than here.

In the US we’ve had some small scale examples of a Singapore-like system that have been very successful. Whole Foods and the Indiana state government workers. They are given a set amount of money every year that goes into their health savings account. There is also a high deductible plan the employer provides which will cover anything catastrophic.

The video goes into detail about how it worked out, but the savings were massive with no change in health outcomes. Singapore also forces doctors to post prices for everything so they compete against each other on price which makes services dramatically cheaper than here. If nothing else, we should adopt the transparency in the healthcare system that Singapore has.

        • It sounds like it might be a lot more progressive than I thought it was. I know we had a Singapore commenter on here at one point, and he didn’t like it too much. And I talked to a woman from Singapore and I was shocked out how much she was paying for her insurance or whatever it was.

And forcing people to put money into those accounts they can’t touch for anything else is frankly the same thing as Medicare deductibles. Maybe it is not as bad as I thought it would be. Honestly, countries who go single payer never see any decline in macro outcomes. It just never happens.

US physicians are wildly overpaid. They make about twice as much as physicians in comparably wealthy nations and our outcomes are no better than theirs, in fact, they tend to be worse. The only reason for the inflated salaries is something that looks like a Physician’s Cartel set up by the AMA that deliberately limits the number of physicians allowed into the system, causing supply shortages. There’s no other reason for it. It’s a cartel like OPEC, setting prices by creating supply shortages.
