Warning to Delphi Commenters on Comments Policy

Most of you are doing fine in terms of comments, and I would like to thank you all for coming here for these posts. Since most of you are new here and are not our normal readers, I will have to warn you about the Comments Policy. This blog is a very leftwing blog. It’s a socialist blog. You can define that any way you want. Anyway, we hate rightwingers here. I mean really hate them.

So rightwingers, conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians, etc. are simply not allowed to post here. They are warned once and then banned. Social conservatism is ok though as long as you keep it out national politics. I also don’t ban on racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, anti-Semitism, bla bla. I don’t like this stuff, but I won’t ban on it. You can bash feminists, gay rights nuts, tranny crazies and Black Lives Matter fools all you want to on here. And we’re  very much against illegal immigration and want a dramatic drawdown on legal immigration.

This site is part of a new political movement called the Alternative Left. Yes it has some similarities to the Alt Right as it came out of that movement. But we are a lot different. It’s very hard to describe what we are like, but we are Leftists who hate PC, SJW and Cultural Left insanity. We are “conservative Leftists.” If that makes no sense to you, recall how the Communist states were often pretty conservative on a lot of social issues? Well we are the same way.

The working class guy who hates feminism, the union worker who can’t stand illegal immigration, the truck driver who’s had it with Gay Pride parades, the construction worker who’s had it up to here 135 different genders, the working class redneck who thinks masculinity in men and femininity in women are unfairly maligned. The Alt Left is for all of you, but you have to support our Left economics. The Alt Left is sort of “socialism for rednecks,” if you will.

And if it makes you conservatives feel any better, we can’t stand Centrists either. Centrists in the US are just rightwingers. By definition that is someone who votes Republican half the time. And believe it or not, we hate the Democratic Party, even Democratic Party liberals. Liberal Democrats are some of the worst people of all. Conservatives have an excuse – it’s their ideology. Liberal Democrats have no excuse. They are supposed to be progressive people, but most of them are just the left wing of the Republican Party. As you can see, my politics is pretty nuts. I think liberal Democrats are just the milder Republicans! So you guys probably hate my politics as much as I hate yours, and I don’t blame you. My politics is pretty radical.

A lot of you come from a conservative part of the US, and the milieu for these victims was in a very conservative local area. Also the subject matter of true crime attracts mostly conservatives. I don’t care what your politics are, but if you are conservative, just don’t talk about it on the site please. Then we will be just fine. I do not want to have to ban you.

TIA for your cooperation.

A good overview of the Alt Left is here.

  1. Wow. I’m just reading this. What you’ve written is scathing. I simply cannot comprehend how you can HATE a swath of people for whom they vote. It blatantly confirms the absolute intolerance of liberals and is why this country will never be unified. Among a zillion others, one common characterization of conservatives is tolerance. Also, we don’t riot against those with dissenting political views points. We also don’t egregiously lie about them, harass them at their residences, destroy their property by childishly carving up golf courses, block traffic like children, thereby putting people in danger, harass your young children because we disagree with what YOU stand for, verbally attack you in airplanes while you peacefully sit with your young children, and we don’t have a victim mentality, because that perpetuates entitlement. A society with a sense of entitlement is a very dangerous society.

And, here’s the funny part. Everything you do accomplishes nothing. You’re spinning your wheels. You’re a cliche. You’re like the clowns that were at Woodstock. They came with peace and love, but left thousands of tons of garbage when they left. They turned the place into a fucking cesspool. Sounds exactly like the mentality of liberals.

Are you a supporter of Calexit? You should be. So very many of you whine about leaving the country, but why DOES NOT ONE person leave? Seriously. We’re laughing at you. LOL. You’re like little children who say they’re running away, then turn back halfway down the black. You’d all shit your pants if you found yourselves anywhere outside of the US.

FROM THE BOTTOM MY HEART, GO FUCK YOURSELF.

    • You’re banned, clown. But you got one thing right pal.

WE HATE YOU, THAT’S FOR DAMN SURE BUDDY.

After this last election, I ended every single one of my friendships with Republicans or people who supported Trump. I ended friendships that I have had for 5-10 years. They can come back, but they need to quit supporting this ape. And I will continue to do this. I will no more Republican friends ever for the rest of my life. You guys are lucky I even talk to you or give you the time of day.

As far as whether we are accomplishing anything, your President has the lowest rating of any sitting President. His rating keeps getting lower and lower. Pretty soon he’s going to be so toxic that the party itself will have to cut itself off from him.

      WE ARE THE MAJORITY JOKER.

We are 55%. You clowns are 40%. Most people in the country don’t even support you! Most people in the US hate you! Most Americans hate your President and your party! This is minority rule here pal. You don’t even have majority support here. That’s because you’re losers. You lost the last election by 3 million votes and you only one by hacking the voting machines which is how you have stolen many elections since you installed those damn computer voting machines with the purpose of electoral fraud in 2002.

MOST OF THE COUNTRY IS AGAINST YOU.

Im just amazed at one of Tzukeepers quotes “One characterization of conservatives is tolerance”. What planet does this guy live one? Come on, at least try to keep it real.

This whole topic is kind of interesting. When police and other investigators want to find out who a killer is, they need to be open to all sources of information, regardless of the background of the source. Robert is not the police or an investigator, but he does have people posting some pretty good information here, some of which may even be of benefit to the investigators. I’d hate to see any person feel unwelcome to post or comment. However, I think if a person is posting about a crime, there is no need in that comment to give their political or religious or other type of viewpoint, especially if it is incendiary or demeaning of the victims, their families, other commenters, or the town and its people.

The more open and welcoming a crime investigation is, the more likely it is to elicit truth. The people who know about this crime specifically are likely to be a reflection of that town, which appears to be mostly white, fairly well educated, middle class, Christian, peaceful, trusting. Most of them could probably be described as “right wingers.” If you cut them all out or make them feel unwelcome or insulted, you remove the main sources of potential information.

On the other hand, how do you even know a person is “right wing” in the comment they make about a murder/ crime, unless they add something inappropriate to the comment? However, I suspect that those very inappropriate tidbits are what fuels the mind of the Delphi killer. For example, I suspect the Delphi killer used a rationale that the girls “deserved” to be killed because they were alone in the woods, or because they were posing on the bridge, or because he perceived their manner as sexual. These are all right wing types of thoughts — that girls should be accompanied and kept under cover, rather than be free to explore and have fun.

Every murder like this goes a long way in taking away freedom from girls and women nationwide. Every murder or rape or kidnapping of a woman out jogging translates to a whole lot of women who fear going out jogging. I am not saying right-wingers approve of murder, because obviously, they do not. However, a patriarchal, punitive, controlling mindset toward women can lead to making excuses for why girls should be killed or why they or their families are to blame for their deaths. And those ideas are best elucidated by those coming from the milieu, and hence, why banning comments from right wingers, if the comments are otherwise not offensive toward the two girl victims, could cut out valuable sources of information.

If you refuse to dig in the dirt, you cannot find what is buried there.

I hope this makes sense to you.

    • They can post all they want on the crime stuff.

Just don’t talk about politics, ok? I don’t want them coming over to my other stuff because then I will have to ban them. I don’t want to ban them. Ok?

Yikes- I’m now afraid to comment, and mention anything political, and it’s such a great site for all sorts of subjects. I “strongly agree” with Lotus, especially on “crime etc.”- you really have to open up all avenues, irregardless of their political affiliations, as in that way the truth can be brought out. Example of course is the people of Indiana, some could hold great information, but not be of the political persuasion that Robert likes.
I’m glad in his comment, he will allow “all people” to comment on crime, as you have to put the victims first.

I once read a great book, written by a famous author on the subject of human development. People were asking him why God, or Jesus Christ was not mentioned. His reply- if you read carefully “between the lines” and understand the theme of the book, you will realize God is mentioned repeatedly. He went on to say- if I use the word God or Jesus, it may turn other people off, and I want my book to appeal to “all the masses”, because it’s message is that of love and human growth, and I want all people to embrace it. ( I agree with this)

I’m a Canadian, and we are more a socialist country, much like an Obama country would be run. I’m OK with it, as that’s the way it is, whether I like it or not–and I really don’t vote. Canada is similar to the US in a lot of ways, and different in a lot of ways-example-gun control, military activity etc. I have to be Ok with it, as I live here, and have to respect the laws, and also have American friends that live here, married US girls.

In summary, for myself, I don’t really care what people’s political beliefs are, as I may want to learn from them. I’m not going to change them, but I’m interested in human nature, and why they think the way they do ? I would make comments on Trump here, but now I won’t. I had a great conversation with an American friend, and we both discussed Trump, and I asked what he and his family thought of Trump – he’s from Virginia, and his reply was “not good”, and feels Trump has failed on his immigration, and reforming Obamacare, and somewhat embarrassing the US. I won’t say what “my reply was” as it may not conform to the blog ? I did take a very “objective opinion” and pointed out pros and cons, and we had a great talk. Doesn’t matter to me though, as it’s American politics, and of course I’m Canadian.

I do not know what the Alt left is ??? but it sounds like it’s a philosophy of running a country on “extreme socialism”- I’m not quite sure? but would be interested in finding out. I also think for healthy discussion, people with different political views should be welcomed, in order to give the Alt left validity, and show how strong it is and healthy in comparison. Again though, this is Robert’s site, and he wants comments that are only in line with his thinking, and I’m OK with that.

These are only “my views” as I’m not a real political animal, however I do take an interest in American and Canadian politics, and really enjoy a good 2 way debate, as this is how you learn.

I will respect Robert’s wishes on this subject, because it’s his blog, and he wants the political persuasion presented within his beliefs and acceptability. I wish they were a little more “relaxed,” as I do like open discussions on all subjects, but will respect Robert’s rules. In other words, I can’t say anything good about Trump-” I can live with that . From people in the US I’ve talked to-“most feel Trump will be kicked out of office.” It will be very interesting to see what happens ?

I will donate to your site Robert-don’t worry, I just have to set up my Pay Pal account.

Note- again I say “allow” all comments, on the Delphi case, irregardless, of people’s political affiliation, as it may lead to an arrest, and this is owed to the girls. Great work you did on this Delphi case Robert.

        • Oh I allow ALL comments absolutely! People of any political affiliation can post on the Delphi posts! Conservatives are welcome to post on the nonpolitical posts too. I have many conservative commenters on this site! They are just not allowed to promote conservatism, in particularly the Republican/Libertarian variety in the US, that’s all. But they can about anything else under the sun. You could maybe even promote the conservative party of Canada. I don’t like them very much, but they are probably to the left of the US Democratic Party. “Conservative” parties in other countries are quite different from our homegrown crazies.

Also you can post social conservatism to your heart’s content. After all, this site is run by a socially conservative Leftist, if that makes any sense at all.

Lotus, your last paragraph is part of why this case bothers me so much. If this perp isn’t caught it will certainly send a message to like minded predators that they also can get away with such acts. Yes, it is frightening to teens (girls AND boys), women etc.

Don’t think such sickos aren’t watching to see if LE is so weak and tentative that they won’t/can’t make an arrest in this case.

Until then, what are we supposed to tell our young people? Don’t enjoy the outdoors? I’ve loaded up on pepper spray (not too effective with an overdressed, armed perp like Unsub) for hikes with my dogs. I see women are applying for more gun permits in IN now, but even if armed, what would one do, have a shoot out on the bridge with that freak?

These girls did everything they could to leave a record of what was happening to them; I don’t understand why LE hasn’t done something more definitive with that and caught that guy.

So true…..so many ignorant people and we put up with that dumbass Obama for 8 years!!! Really.. that’s why

Gary, if you are from Canada, you really do not know what it is like to live in the U.S., where most people do not have access to basic health care and most people go hungry during significant portions of their lives. People in the U.S. go into heavy debt to get the education they need to hold any job or to pursue a career. Many people hold jobs and yet must live in homeless shelters. I will say no more, for fear Robert will ban me, as I am here for the Delphi crime posts.

      • LOL, you should comment on political stuff more Lotus. Sounds to me you are exactly where we are politically. Thanks for this comment comrade. Social democrats can use that greeting too. I saw it a l lot at the Socialist International site. I really liked the project that Bernie was selling. I do think we need a market. I am a “market socialist.” Something like what China is doing maybe. The market needs to work for society and not the other way around as it is here.
