Some Thoughts on a Majority-Gay Society

I don’t have much to add here other than to say very interesting post! I would love to see some queers respond to this.

This post is in regards to my thought experiment about what society would look like if most adults were gay or bisexual. My general conclusion is that this would not be a very workable, coherent or even sane society. By that, I did not mean to say that gay and lesbian subcultures are unworkable, incoherent or insane, although I find some aspects of gay male culture to be pretty crazy. Anyway, small gay and lesbian subcultures function fairly well in the West and exist without causing major or catastrophic problems to the larger society. Bottom line is Western countries can continue to flourish  with small gay and lesbian subcultures.

If only a tiny minority of society, say 2-3%, is openly gay or lesbian, it is nothing to worry about a lot. Sure, gay and lesbian culture is quite pathological in many ways, but they mostly hurt themselves, not others. These cultures do cause quite a few problems centering around mental and physical health for the most part. However, these problems are generally very localized within the gay or lesbian community itself and typically do not cause massive disruptions or devastating problems in society as a whole.

Gay and lesbian subcultures in the West are still workable and cause little damage to society as a whole if this segment is limited to 2-3% population, as the population is so small that any problems created are be quite manageable by the larger society. But the post points out just how insane and weird society would be if a majority of adults were gay or lesbian. Society would be bizarre as Hell, profoundly pathological and highly dysfunctional.

Could it work? Maybe. Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, Syria, Somalia, Zaire, Nigeria, Afghanistan and the Donbass have societies that technically function. Gypsy society is insanely dysfunctional and pathological, and they have been carrying on and surviving for centuries. People and cultures have a way of surviving.

But if most adults were gay or lesbian, this would be very bad for society in countless ways. It would be a huge societal downgrade. So in theory, it’s not a workable proposition, and it would be an incredibly bad idea.

Relative to Western societies Gypsy societies are infections, but relative to themselves they seem to thrive.

Gay parades are pretty shocking (all the leather motorcycle stuff and whatnot). If such a lifestyle crept out of an adult toy shop into the general population, then it would be very bad to say the least.

  3. Every non-adapted behavior will be dysfunctional.
I agree that many ”homossexuals” who are very sexual-addict, but of course, all populations will have their exceptions.
”Unusual” sexual behaviours are dysfunctional just by human standards because there are many species which are hermaphrodites.
People are shock and disgusting about ”homossexuals” because their promiscuity. If most them were less promiscuous, people accept better this behaviour.
Promiscuity is the same than disease for most people. In our head, promiscuous people are sexually transmissive disease vectors.
Gay parades (creates by master parasites) are completely nonsense.

Reason why conservatives dislike homos more then liberals.

For me the question is why homosexuality seems so much more prevalent. Do you think it has anything to do with the bath of hormone mimicking synthetic chemicals which immerse us 24/7 from birth in the modern world? And if so, is this merely a byproduct of the convenience demanded by an industrial consumer economy, or are the elites aware of what they’re doing? Is this part of a war against the socially destabilizing (in their view) nature of masculine aggression and rebelliousness?

If a society functions and survives, it is by definition not dysfunctional or maladaptive in a Darwinian sense, however strange or even repugnant it may be to many or most observers. Certain forms of social organization cannot exist without larger social structures supporting them. Gypsies need non gypsies to scam. Homosexuals need straight society in order to simply reproduce.

Really, there are a gypsy country???

      • Santoculto

There a very introvert people in most of human populations.
Heterossexual women and women are all equals??? Nope. Some hetero men are more macho behaviour, others are less macho-alpha and so on… homossexuals are just a end of a sexuality spectrum.

        • Most straight men are less effeminate and more masculine than most gay men. Period. I have met 10,000’s of gay men. I know all about these folks.

        • Santoculto

          Really**

The problem about the supposed ”enigma” of (masculine) homossexuality happen when evolutionary psychologists start to think ”how some ”trait” can exist without DIRECT selection**

”gay minority sub culture” is not a problem.

    Same analogy ”for blacks”???

    😉

Certainly, from an evolutionary perspective, it would be difficult to imagine the development of a “gay” society, but what about the spontaneous development of a mutation in modern times. I have often wondered if the hypersexuality of gay men was more related to the societal norms, rather that an internal biological drive. In such a society each individual would be responsible for their own monetary needs. Enough awareness of the reproductive imperative would give rise to surrogate lesbian mothers. In such a world, people would be less obsessed with sexuality and gender. They would identify with more mundane orientation. Some people obsess with cats or dogs regardless of orientation.

A popular radical atheist on YouTube made an interesting comment. He said blacks want gays to “Sit in the back of the bus.”. So true, for whatever it’s worth. Of course, there are some good reasons why Tulio and others hate gays.

    • Santoculto

Primitive people hate someone who look ilogical for them.

Many ”gays” are extremely nice guy. Human retards look for it as ”impossible to straight guy to be like that”.
behaviour criteria is stablished by cattle. For primitive humans, the man need to act dominant, self confident and on a ”testosteronic” way. Idiocracy start when the average in behavioural intelligence define what is ”weird” and ”normal”.

We don’t want to pick on gays too much. Straight sex promoted by pornography is quite sick and people who practice would definitely be shunned in an “Andy Griffith” world. “Oh my, Aunt Bee”. 😆

  11. A completely homosexual society would have no children being born thus leading to human extinction. It would also be completely based on sex and nothing else (see also christopher street day gay sex fests as best example).
