John UK stopped by, apparently using a proxy to get around his ban. We will tolerate it for now, but not anymore. This will be the last we hear of him. Some interesting comments which I will comment on.
You don’t get to say things like “failed socialist economics” on this blog, homeboy. This is a socialist website. We simply cannot allow that sort of thinking. And yes you are not allowed to argue against socialism per se, which on this site ranges anywhere from social liberalism all the way to hardline Communism. You can oppose points on the spectrum, but you can’t oppose the whole spectrum as you do.
Libertarianism is neither left nor right? On economics, it’s rightwing. I don’t know anyone who thinks Libertarianism is leftwing. Anywhere you go, including Wikipedia, will tell you that Libertarianism is a rightwing movement. A strange one? But not rightwing? No way. Libertarianism is neither Left nor Right is a Libertarian lie meant to hook in gullible Lefties, like me in 1980, into voting Libertarian.
You also can’t come onto this blog and make rightwing populist arguments against central banking and in favor of the gold standard, two things that go together. Without central banking and with a gold standard, we have no welfare state, you see? So you can’t argue for that on here, and I will ban on that.
One can be a critic of Islam, as I certainly am, without being a deranged Islamophobe, as you are, John. Which by the way goes hand in hand with your rightwing economics and the rest of your rightwing crap.
How can one be an antisemite and still be fanatically pro-Zionist? Good question, John, but that’s what you are. I imagine you like the Zionist entity because it’s on the front line of the War on Islam. I imagine you also support it because you hate Muslims way more than you hate Jews. I imagine you dislike Jews because you are a classic reactionary. Reactionaries after all historically don’t like the Jews. That’s been changing lately with the emergence of reactionary Jews and Jewish fascism in the Zionist entity itself, but the corollary still remains the same. Reactionaries of all sorts have a historical beef with the Jews.
The “neither Left nor Right” line is a rightwing populist line that is used by all sorts of nefarious sorts. It is typically used by rightwing populists, “Centrist” invertebrates like Obama, out and out fascists and is particularly popular these days with antisemites. You will never find me saying “neither Left nor Right!”
”I really didn’t want to do this, but I finally had to. This is a socialist blog, and one of the rules here is no rightwing economics. John violated this rule on endless occasions. He’s only supposed to get one warning, but he got way more than that. He just did it again, and this was the last time.”
First of all I was not advocating right wing economics I was stating a fact that India’s economic development like China started once they started implementing western free market reform which is a fact but you are so virulently anti-India you don’t like any defense of India.
“I’m not wild about his other views – his support for Ron Paul”
Only US presidential candidate that is anti-war.
Libertarianism is rightwing? Yes there are good points about libertarianism especially in regards to Central Banking.
”his wild Islamophobia,”
Sorry I just post the fact and critique Islam like other mainstream social commentators without the hypocritical bullshit of the good jihad vs bad jihad like we got from the likes of Christopher Hitchens.
As I have stated before Islam is the only religion on Earth that is in conflict with every other religion with most terrorist groups and ethnic conflict involving Muslims/Islam which is an aggressive, racist, expansionist economic and cultural system that advances US global hegemony.
Did you not post some of my “wild Islamaphobic” videos like Muslim behavior in France?
“his anti-Semitism combined with equally ridiculous fanatical Zionism,”
How can I be anti-Semitic and pro-Zionist?
My critique of Jews which I usually cite Jewish sources as a reference are historic political and economic activities that go against their host nations that famous people like Mark Twain, FDR, Churchill and others have made comments about.
I have been a harsher critic of Britain and the US does that make me anti-British/American?
I don’t see how I am pro-Zionist simply because I state the historical fact that Palestine was created by a Roman general to quell Jewish revolts against the Roman Empire bring in neighboring tribes from Syria and other places.
Israel is far more tolerant and open country than any of the neighboring countries in the region.
”his insane rightwing populism and his insanity in general, but most of that isn’t necessarily bannable, although it’s odd to see it on a progressive website for sure. Well, now we won’t have to put up with that anymore either.”
I am neither left nor right which are social constructs created to frame limited debates which really have no meaning in modern society with the Democratic and Republican parties in the US and the Conservative and Liberal parties in Europe being an example of this.
”I know a lot of you are going to squeal, but what’s done is done. At any rate, the sanity level of the blog ought to go up just a bit.”
Yes more Indian bashing, advocating failed socialist economics which you are not allowed to argue against and Bigfoot news.
Since the collapse of the USSR and dating back to the Afghan war in 79 our purpose is to create an Arc of Crisis against Russia in Eurasia supporting Pan-Turanian Islamic movements among the various ethnic groups in the Eurasian landmass and Russia itself to control the future oil and gas energy reserves to Europe and Asia.
