        Yeah. I don’t think Tesak would be happy with his new “brothers”. Also, we must account for some of this similarity by the fact that there are turkic and iranian elements in russian culture as well. And, I think the correct term is “Russified”.

          Nah, just how it is being transformed into yet another “oil sheikdom” of sorts. Sort of like what is found on the Arabian Peninsula. As to their degree of being “Russified,” I do not think the Russian influence will ever go away.

          Do you think that could succeed with such a large ethnically russian and orthodox minority in the country? (Assuming by “sheikdon” you meant something islamic) Do you think something will happen in Turkmenistein with it’s natural gas? Apparently turkic people like strong leaders. Will there be another Turkmenbasy type? Do you think Iran will just have storng influence there or will Iran “eat it”? It would really be something if Iran had strong influence in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistein on top of it’s own large energy reserves. I think I remember reading that Tajikistan had large uranium deposits. With all those energy resouces and it’s central location it could really be a major player in world affairs. Iran and Turkey are located just right so that as long as they’re not totally impotent, they can have a large effect on the world. I don’t know if there’s anyplace better located than Iran with Turkey as number 2 best located as far as influence goes.

          Shit Wade, you ask a tall order of questions. :)

          By “sheikdom,” I wasn’t implying anything Islamic reality. Only yet another artificially created oil/gas state driven state.

          How Iran will play into the future of the Caucasus and Central Asian states, I can’t be sure. I believe Iran’s influence and focus in the Arab Middle East will wane, and it’s focus be more on the Caucasus and Central Asia, in the long run. It is a growing 800 pound gorilla after all, even if the U.S refuses to admit it. It will be a tug of war between Russia, China, a rapidly waning U.S, and Iran, in Central Asia. In the Caucasus, it will be between Russia, Iran, Turkey/U.S, with perhaps a future break in Turkish U.S bilateral cooperation.

          I actually do not see how nations such as Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan could not exist within the Iranian sphere of influence.

          Turkey will probably also gain influence in the Eastern Mediterranean Arab countries, and perhaps the Arab World, as U.S influence wanes. This will be in direct competition with European countries like France, which is rather Ironic.

          On a side note, it is interesting to see how rapidly Iran is changing, and how it is not reported at all in the western press.

          The Mullahs and their fixation on the Arab World is already waning, and becoming nuance, while a move towards a more nationalistic view and focus is already becoming more evident.

          I can see that, for the most part. I don’t see how Iran couldn’t not at least try to influence Iraq, even if there is resistance. The border is too long to ignore it and the ethno-religoius situation in Iraq is very different than the rest of the middle east. It seems that the kurds will be in the middle of all of this. Of course Turkey will seek influence in Iraq because of the kurdish problem and they will probably be pretty effective since they control the head waters of it’s biggest rivers. I also can’t see Iran not trying to have some influence over the tip of the Arabian peninsula that portrudes into the strait of Hormuz. However, I think another major naval power would probably counteract such influence, if Saudi Arabia couldn’t or didn’t want to. I have heard the Saudis have been spending more militarily in the past few years.

          I wonder how Turkey will do in the Balkans. With the Albanian theft of Kosovo apparently going well and the severe decline in population for countries like Bulgaria and Serbia I can’t see turkish influence not growing. Of course the Russian turkish competition would be at work here. I think the US and Germany would be involved to a degree too. Russia and Turkey would be competing in the Caucasus as well. The real interesting question is Ukraine and especially Crimea. There is still a tatar population in Crimea, but it is largely pro-Ukraine, not pro-turkey and definitely not pro-Russia. I think if the Russians had there way, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and the Baltics would not exist as independent entities. (Maybe Belarus, but it would be pretty buddy buddy with Russia anyways) If Turkey takes the eastern med arab states under its wing, the future of Cyprus will be interesting to watch too. Of course Kikestan will be involved in all of this somehow.

          The three body problem…I better learn some Chaos theory in order to understand this all. The way one region spills into another makes me fell like we’re talking about Europe leading up to WWI.

          Well, you are right about Iran. Every time Persia had and empire, it took Mesopotamia under it’s fold. Every single time, that place became a battle ground amongst outsiders. Be it Greeks and Persians, Romans and Persians, Ottoman’s and Persians, Ottomans’ and the British, and now…Well, the U.S was just dumbfuck enough to go in there, spend a trillion or more dollars, and had the place right over to Tehran.

          As for Turkey, I can’t imagine it making much gains in Eastern Europe. The Turks are hated in Eastern Europe, with a capital “H.” Hell, most of Europe strongly dislikes them. It is just that Turkey is so integrated into Europe’s economic system.

          As for Israel? Beats me. They are scrambling for a new “uncle sugar” I hear, since they have long since predicted an eventual end to U.S hegemony.

          Albania, Bosnia, and Macedonia sure don’t hate them and they have a colony on Cyprus. The turks have had powerful friends with influence in Eastern Europe in the past. Could they have won the
          Crimean war without Britain and France? Just because people don’t like you doesn’t mean they won’t side with you willingly or can’t be coopted to. The fact is that Bulgaria is projected to lose over a 1/3 of it’s populace while the turks, gypsie, and pomaks(muslim Bulgarians) in Bulgaria reproduce faster. Meaning ethnic bulgarian christians will drastically decline as a percentage of the populace. Of course, they’re at Turkey’s doorstep and Greece and Serbia have a traditional alliance against them. Sometime the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Of course the Germans have sided with the turks (and Albanians) in the past.

          Well,we can’t know everything. The fact is is that there isn’t much hisotrical precedent for anything involving Israel except that a whole shit load of people don’t like them and with a possible split with Turkey and a declining US it is unclear who they will latch onto in a parasitic fashion. It looks like SOME european nationalists are becoming somewhat warmer towards zionism and they are begining to surge in popularity. Maybe the jews will do what they can to “ride the wave”. that seems doubtfull though. Of course the jews have sold some weapons to China in the past, but I don’t think China will be a US type sugar daddy for Israel. Aligning with India and a waning US seems like it could be a possible strategy. Hindu nationalists also hate muslims and indian pubdits are becoming more influential in US politics.

          We can be sure of one thing no matter what happens: the jews will do everything they can to harm other groups of people and when those people retaliate they jews will claim to be the victims.

        That’s what I was looking into before, but I probably won’t. I don’t like US foreign policy and the wars we’re involved in. I really don’t want to be a part of that, but I have nothing against the military as a thing in itself. It’s like a gun in that what really matters is who is directing it, and all our recent presidents have been horrible war mongers(including the one who decided to “assist” in Libya).

          I really don’t care. As I;ve said before, being jewish or Israeli doesn’t make you automatically bad. Hell, in many ways I probably like the jews in Israel more than many in the US. However, the reality is that many jews choose to do and support awful things. What makes it worse is that it’s not some genetic or any other predetermined matter, it’s a matter of personal choice.

          As far as Ghaddafi is concerned, he may have done some bad things, but he has also done some good things as well. There are other leaders who deserve to get axed more than him.

    If there were not laws against it in the West, guys would try to date 13 year old girls. Think of it this way, from an evolutionary standpoint: A woman who is at her physical peak at age 20 has 20 years left of fertility. A 13 year old girl has 27.

    The above being said, I think states are on the right track with an age of consent at age 16, as it is in most states.

If these institutions ever went as far as suggesting such a plan, all the regular jewish donors would give their money to jewish institutions instead. They could recover from all that they lost from Madoff. Brandeis, YU, AJU, Touro, Gratz, Hebrew Union, and Miami would be all become more prestigious than Harvard. I gave birth to this idea but want to give McDonald his due credit for impregnating me.

      Eh, I don’t know about MacDonald’s proposal.

      I do think, however, that a proposal to impose a special tax on predominantly Jewish banks/media outlets would be a great experiment.

      Either Jews accept it and gentiles can make money off the tax, or by screaming “anti-Semitism” over the special tax, they’re conceding that these banks/other institutions are in fact Jewish owned, in spite of their protestations that such isn’t the case.

        I wouldn’t mind it actually. I always found it upseting that jews prefer to support institutions such as Princeton and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston which had strong exclusive admissions policies in the 1930′s rather than supporting those with Orthodox affiliations such as Yeshiva University. As I mentioned before, I think jews would benefit more from creating and supporting their own institutions rather than dominating mainstream institutions.

    I’ve become more receptive to the HBD position lately. The idea of innate racial differences certainly troubles me in some respects, but it’s intriguing to think that ancestral origins affect your personality and behavior in a fundamental way. I’m especially curious in the subject as it relates to mixed race people. Are they likely to possess characteristics intermediate to those of their parent races? Or does the combination of diverse ancestries endow them with attributes you wouldn’t expect based on their racial background? As I mentioned on another thread, I’m roughly 3/4 Euro, 1/5 African, and a smidgen Amerindian. What does that make me?

      I’ve been mulling over how much of a given race “counts” in a demographic sense. 1/4? 1/8? I’m still not sure. Curious as to what others think.
      In the 2000 and 2010 US censuses, we were allowed to check off more than one box for race. I’m guessing quite a few people checked off “Native American” on account of being, say, all of about 1/64 Cherokee.

      Last year I discovered that I’m only about 90% “white.” The rest is mostly Amerindian, with a smidgen of African (ha!). I figure 1/10 isn’t enough to justify labeling myself mixed-race, but I can’t decide just where I would draw the line.
      Re: how we express ancestral traits–just in terms of looks, it appears that some traits can be passed on “whole,” e.g., I have my gg-grandmother’s nose (I have an old photo), and some can be blended, e.g., my skin tone is somewhere between my Dad’s very pale skin and my Mom’s olive skin.
      As far as personality and behavior go–we inherit genes for those things as well, yeah?

        Draw the line in a place where you can get AA and other minority benefits. My guess is that white american will get more and more “pure white” over the next few decades because anyone who can find some mixture to count as mixed race as far as AA and related programs are concerned will start to define themselves as mixed race, especially males.

          My AA ancestry is through one male (!) ancestor from the 1600s (10 generations back–making me 1/2,048th black, LOL). Theoretically I have additional black ancestry through one Melungeon great-great-grandmother (a “tri-racial isolate” group in Appalachia).
          Re: the Amerindian side, as I have a teeny bit of ancestry from multiple tribes–Creek, Cherokee, Choctaw, Chowanoke, Cheroenhaka–most tribes require a blood quantum (a certain percentage) for membership. Anyway it’s not my culture even though it’s part of my genotype.
          Even if I could prove enough ancestry to somehow get paid for it, the idea of getting paid for what race my ancestors were is repugnant!

          Oh duh!–Affirmative Action–I read AA as African-American. I do believe that in some circles I am already a racist for being against affirmative action, reparations and etc. Probably a lot of people around here would consider me a racist too (political correctness is almost like a religion around here).

        As for Helen Thomas, she is a senile old lady who has no business in a position that would require tact and objectivity. What happened to her was unfortunate, but her status should not be exalted just because of that.

          You don’t know anything about me. I tend to take a neutral view on intermarriage and assimilation. We should accept it if it occurs, but not actively promote it. We should certainly not treat it as some sort of accomplishment or measure for success. I am skeptical of those who urge encourage everyone to forget about where they come from and “join the human race.” This is naive and deceptive. I will respect everyone regardless of race but that does not mean I must embrace their culture as my own.

        I’ve seen this “TNB” acronym in the WN lexicon going back over a decade now. I guess the assumption is that that beating people up in pizza stores is “typical” behavior of black people. How do you think cops bum rush wild crazy guys on PCP? Now throw in 4 or 5 guys as we saw standing around watching and they could’ve smashed him. There’s no reason one man of any size should be able to run amok like that while half a dozen onlookers watch. Especially when they saw the whole thing from the beginning and that the guy didn’t do anything. Everyone is of course standing there waiting for someone else to do something. The whole thing is a shame to watch because it didn’t have to happen. There was easily enough manpower in that room to stop that assault.

          However, police are trained, mentally and physically, for aggressive physical confrontation plus they are armed. The average random civilian standing in Shakey’s or Papa John’s is just not Rambo.

          I had a friend once who was only about 5’8″ but he weight 280 pounds. A lot of it was fat, obviously, but in the hand-to-hand world of physical altercations, weight is king. This guy I knew is one of the strongest SOB’s I’ve ever known personally, add 20 pounds and 8 inches, I’m betting on the big guy in the video to easily fend off some hungry pizza customers.

German Thilo Sarrazin’s book about the problems of alien immigration to Germany has enjoyed much success. Etc.

          I think Europeans, to a certain extent, are certainly saying “enough is enough” when it comes to the whole multiculturalism/globalization experience.

          I don’t know if the U.S. will have a similar awakening. The “Tea Party” is a joke, as James Edwards has repeatedly made clear, and there’s no way a bunch of teocons and corporatized republicans are going to do any good when it comes to reversing these trends.

          China certainly has serious problems. gender imbalance, terrible environmental issues, the serious problems, political and ethnic, that could arise if China ever democratizes (ie. think of Tibetans and Uighurs and what they would do if given democracy), as well as the potential long term consequences of remaining authoritarian (not that I think democracy is a panacea, but still).

          There’s going to be a day of reckoning in China, for sure.

          But there sense of work ethic, nationalism, and pride will propel them forward. They don’t question their own legitimacy or cheerfully celebrate their own demise the way Western leftists do.

Why would an african choose to go to Russia for asylum. First thing, Africans know about Russian neo-nazis and how Russia is much more dangerous for them than western countries. I knew a guy from Cameroon from college who told me that Russia’s image in Africa had been affected by the movement. Second, it is more likely that a west african can learn some english or french, not russian. There was some africans educated in the Soviet Union and could speak russian. However, I odn’t think these guys spoke Russian in the interview and I doubt they knew much of any of it. Third, travel to the Urals is much more difficult than travel to Western Europe. Travel to New York may have even be easier. I think all this adds up to an anglosphere scam. The much more obvoius choice for these immigrants in western europe or the US, yet they end up in a small town in the Urals. Something’s not right here….

    So they just announce on the radio news a few minutes ago that China’s economy will have eclipsed the US in 5 years to become the world’s largest economy. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting sick of hearing it over and over.

    Duh, of course they will, they have 25% of the world’s fucking population, they don’t have to increase their economy by very much to be the largest.

    On a GDP per capita basis, they are a very long way behind the USA. GDP per capita of of China is around $4000, for the USA, it’s $45000. So a Chinese makes 10x less money than an American, yet we have to keep having it pounded in our head like they have now taken over the world or something.

    China is two-tier economy, like Brazil. It may have first world or close to first world conditions in the cities where people make Western-level incomes and have the comforts we take for granted in the West. But outside the cities, it is still 3rd world with unsanitary conditions, pollution, slums, poor access to education and health care, no social mobility, etc.

      Conditions are not so unsanitary in rural China. 96% of the population has access to toilet facilities and indoor plumbing. I do not believe that China has much in the way of your typical 3rd World slums in either the rural or the urban areas. It’s simply not a 3rd World shithole.       But as far as the standard of living is concerned for the average person, in spite of all this country’s problems, I’d rather be living in the U.S.

      Also, everyone was all excited when China surpassed Japan to become the world’s #2 economy. Yeah, China may have a larger economy, but would you rather be an individual living in China or Japan?

      (yes, granted, due to Japan’s recent environmental tragedies, that question seems absurd, but just imagine a pre-disaster Japan and then compare it to China).

        I’m no fan of Dershowitz. There is much to be said in her defense though. Unlike his other cases, this was very much a quality of life issue. Severly Autistic children often engage in self injurious behavior and can pose a threat to others. Also Gigi had developed a health issue, and she was afraid of what would happen to him if she could not take care of him. group homes are terrible places. That’s no excuse to murder your child, but it does put the murder into perspective. She is not on the level of OJ or von Bulow.

My eight year old autistic son is “high-functioning” but still, self-harm issues, constant health issues, screaming-he’s-going-to-kill-me meltdowns. If he were non-verbal, etc. etc. it would be so much more difficult. Often he’s bright and funny and we’re making each other laugh. It could be so much worse.
          Reading about the ones that get to the end of their rope is mind-numbingly sad.

    Minority crime is caused by white oppression

    The next time you read about an African American or Hispanic who committed a crime, don’t blame the African American or Hispanic, instead blame the majority white population. Whites have historically oppressed people-of-color; this has been occurring for hundreds of years. Oppressed people have limited opportunity for education, employment, promotion, advancement, etc. Such oppression unfortunately manifests itself in the form of violent crime. Ultimately, whites are responsible for such crime.

    GANGS & GRAFFITI
    Nobody likes street gangs or graffiti. Unfortunately, most street gangs are either Hispanic or African American. However, the reality is that gangs result when whites oppress people-of-color. When a gang member commits a violent crime, the gang member should NEVER be on trial. Instead, the majority white population should be on trial for oppressing minorities… the gang member is the victim and the white population at large is the victimizer.
    As a person-of-color myself, it’s disheartening to admit that the majority of graffiti in urban America is done by minorities (most studies on graffiti & vandalism show this). However, the next time you drive down the highway and see graffiti, don’t blame minority youth for spraying such graffiti. His action is the cumulative effect of white institutionalized oppression. Essentially, it is white oppression which is “spraying” the graffiti, not the young person-of-color. Minorities spray graffiti as a subconscious expression of their oppression. The anger you feel when seeing the ugliness of such graffiti should be directed at white people.

    WHAT ABOUT MURDER?
    In the case in which a person-of-color commits murder, there should be some, albeit, limited punishment (perhaps a couple years of prison time). But again, such a crime, as heinous as it is, is ultimately the result of white oppression. Rehabilitation, job training, and housing should be provided to the person-of-color upon his/her release from prison.

    Here’s another goodie:

    WHITES MUST BE REDUCED TO A MINORITY
    White people have had 2,000 years to change their ways and, yet, THEY HAVE NOT. Whites seem unable to practice justice and fairness. Therefore the only solution is to reduce whites to a minority wherever they are presently a majority (USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc). The sooner whites are reduced to a minority, the sooner the world can be remade into a unified global society based on justice & dignity… a world free of war and conflict. In such a world, the natural instincts inherent in people-of-color (eg. sharing, justice, peace, fairness, etc) will then finally be free to flourish. Lastly, the fewer white people in the world, the less chance they’ll have to re-emerge and restart their oppressive & racist ways. Sadly, this is the only solution, and, however this solution is realized is justified (large scale non-white immigration, birth control, abortion, etc).

    This entry made me think it must be a put-on. This is just too silly:

    Unfortunately, our bigoted heterosexual society marginalizes, mocks, and oppresses alternate sexualities. During the past 40 years, a campaign of tolerance has helped this situation somewhat. However, tremendous oppression still exists towards those practicing alternate sexual lifestyles. The only way to end such discrimination is to “normalize” alternate sexual lifestyles by vigorously promoting them. By drastically increasing the numbers of gays, lesbians, bisexual, and transgender people in society, we essentially “normalize” alternate sexualities.
    Ideally, in say 40 years (roughly two generations), we hope to realize a society in which at least 50% of all people are gay or lesbian. In slowly building up to this 40 year mark, we incrementally (year by year) will make alternate sexual lifestyles become more and more “normal”. Such sexualities will eventually, by definition, not be “alternative” but rather “normal” (due to the large percentage of the population practicing them).

Based on that a smart man would have placed his bets on Singapore soon surpassing Jamaica.

    I will tell you what, 20 years from now I have no doubt in my mind that both India and China will have a better GDP per capita than most African countries including Angola.

So my point is even if China does overtake us in aggregate GDP, it doesn’t mean that all that much. Just as you said it doesn’t mean much if Jamaica had a higher GDP than Singapore.           I’ll write something brief. Just look at the area she mentioned: Scandinavia. The people who came from here invaded Europe and slughtered monks and nuns. They didn’t even become christianized until relatively late. (starting in the 700s & 800s and not really getting total “hegemony” until a few centuries later) A few centuries after that, the protestant reformation spread there. Not even close to 2000 years. That’s just a chronological error. There are severe errors in the substance of your “iron fist” nonsense. I guess that not much else could be expected coming out of the US, considering it’s history in this area.

The Catholic Church has done a lot of good for Europe. It has made mistakes, but what institution hasn’t? What I can see is that Europe’s most secular, modernist century, the 20th century, was also it’s most violent.

        My views of the dark ages right through to the medieval period are that of an atheist, influenced by Carl Sagan, while at the same time holding limited knowledge of European history in general. Especially after the fall of the Roman Empire, and up until the early 19th century.

        So, I digress. I see things through that prism.

        Hell, come to think about it, I pretty much know about the history of the United States America and Central Asia more than anything. Weird combination…

          That is actually the view I had until a few years ago. That’s what we’re taught here, but I don’t believe it anymore. I also don’t believe much of the other history I was taught when I was young. If you listen to the standard high school textbook line, other than ancient greece, nothing happened in the world until the 1700s. I’m not just talking about Europe, I’m talking about the whole planet. Some people will say that the arabs did this, or the chinese did that, or something happened in medieval europe, but they never seem to go in detail or put it in context or anything. Some areas like Byzantium or (especially) central asia are a black hole for most americans. The whole “official view” on history needs to be changed drastically, and it appears that is happening to a degree.
          For example, did you know that there was a massive plague at the begining of the ” middle ages” that ravaged Europe for generations. Search the “plague of Justinian”. With things like that, I have a hard time believing that the catholic church or “barbaric” germans caused there to the some “dark age”.

          The thing that really annoys me is when people write things like “medieval China”. There was no Roman Empire or Renaissance in China so what were it’s medieval( aka middle ages) in between? Would anyone talk about Tang Dynasty Italy? I don’t think so.

      Yes. However, keep in mind that Syria and Lebanon has signifigant amounts of christians in them. I believe the chiristians in Syria are largely in favor of the assad government (which is part of a minority muslim sect) . Especially so after seeing what happened to christians in Iraq after Saddam fell. Of course, the Assyrian Christians in northern Iraq don;t like the turks becuase the turks tried to exterminate them. I hope that the Syrian government can withstand this current attack on them.

      There were battles in Syria and Palestine. They Byzantines had been weakened there because they recently took them back from Persia, but they did fight in these places. It is true that most of Palestine and Syria were left and Byzantine troops were sent to Egypt, but that is after battles were fought. Even after that, the Byzantines held out in coastal cities for a while.

          I know they each included torture, but I don’t know about sexual abuse, at least not against prisoners. There is always rape in large military conflicts. The people who get caught doing should be punished severly. Maybe even executed in some situations.

    It’s funny that you bring that up. That is one major difference between Iraq and Afghanistan. The Americans had an “odd” sexual notion and interaction with Iraqis and Arabs in general. Hence the butt-pyramids and such. The Arabs seem to have a real problem with sexual humiliation and sexuality, and the Americans really got off on rubbing it into their faces.

    In Afghanistan, that is not the case. Drugs are rampant. Sexuality, minus the occasional rape of Afghan Women by GI’s, is really not an issue.

    No, American soldiers just outright kill the Afghans, because they hate them. The Afghans in turn kill Americans, because they are in their country, telling them what to do.

    OK, so now some europussies are whining about the bin Laden killing being illegal. I say, who cares? International public law is half a century out of step with reality. Public law is still based on war between sovereign states, which hardly ever happens nowadays. Even more: it’s based on war between European – civilized – sovereign states. Any self-respecting 19th century jurist would have laughed at the idea of applying European interstate public law to places like Libya or Afghanistan.

    Jurists are always legislating the last war. That’s what they did in the innovations to the 1949 Geneva Conventions concerning partisans. The Conventions were intended for World War II style partisans, nothing like the terrorists we have today. The 1977 Protocol was meant for today’s terrorists, but lots of states didn’t ratify it because it was totally biased in the terrorists’ favor.

    Non-state militias and terrorist organizations are now getting a free ride on international public law, which they themselves explicitly reject. A true international order will grow out of ad hoc agreements between militias like Hizballah, and states – the kind of agreements that Hizballah and Israel reached in the 1990s, and that limited suffering on both sides. Except for agreements like that, states fighting against non-state militias should ignore international law whenever it’s in their interests to do.

I fixed a fence with my black neighbor, I had to all the measuring for the spacing of the posts and boards. He couldn’t quite figure out where to place the ruler when the components were seperated.

      That I can relate to. I think part of that has to do with the way that SWPL types have appropriated unions and leftism. Many poorer whites are resentful of that. I think if leftist economics issues were put on direct vote instead of being voted on by political parties, you would see wider (and whiter) support for them. For example, we just had a vote last election to regulate “puppy mills”. The vote passed, but the republicans in the MO legislature are actually working on overturning it less than a year after the election. The same thing happened with the “conceal and carry” gun law. MO rejected it in the voting booth, but the republican legislatures overturned the popular vote. I forgot where I read it, but I saw that the last min wage vote we had some counties in the southern part of MO voted for it in the highest percentages. At the same time they voted largely republican for the offices. Politically it’s a strange state. They fact that large farmers pretty much own the legislature doesn’t help.

      I think a better way to get whites to vote leftist is to show a whole bunch of rich white liberal snobs spewing their normal garbage for the whole commercial and then at the end, have a caption that says “Take more of these crackers salaries. Vote for higher taxes on the rich”.

      Whites aren’t beyond hope, and blacks aren’t the treasure you think they are.

    Where I live, believe it or not there aren’t that many Mexicans and they haven’t yet completely taken over landscaping. But I do work for an “best of the best” landscaping company if such a thing makes any sense. We mostly do super rich peoples’ houses and stuff; and also sell potted plants to SWPL types. However, when I walk by the Section 8 housing I only see Mexican landscapers (wtf shouldn’t those negroes at least have to mow their own lawns if they’re getting gvt housing?). Those Mexicans may take all the negro lawn care but they’ll never steal the super rich and SWPL market from us.

    I imagine Central Americans are looked down on in Mexico, especially by the urban elites but I’m a little out of that loop. SoCal is just Mexico Lite and I don’t read the Spanish dailies but in the U.S., Central Americans and Mexicans look down at each other. Ultimately they are just Central Americans or Mexicans, pretty low in the global pecking order, but they still find this strange arrogance when speaking of the other. The Central Americans I’ve known seem to mimic European or Anglo culture. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see Central American parents name their children some strange name like “Tyler” or “Brandon” that proud Mexican parents would never name their children. “Pedro” and “Miguel” will always be with us.

      Ok I will take your word for that then. You are more in the know then I am. At first glance as an outsider, you don’t see much of it. And they definitely mingle in the gangs here. Nortenos and Surenos have both Mexicans and Central Americans in the same gang, and no one cares. They only hate the other gang, not the other ethnics in the same gang.

    Those were gangs in LA. Mexican gangs versus Salvadoran gangs. But around here it’s Nortenos and Surenos. Of course there are plenty of 2nd generation Central Americans in those gangs. Nortenos come from Northern California and Surenos from Southern California. I’ve known some 2nd generation Central Americans and any Mexicans of all types and no one cares what bit about that.
