I hate these new energy efficient buildings. I worked at one of them, and the place was literally making me sick. I would be feeling great until I showed up at work, then I would gradually get very sleepy and stuffed up over time. Finally, I would be so tired that I would have to leave early. By the time I got home, I was all woken up again.
One that I go to now is simply freezing cold all the time. It may well be 88 degrees outside, but inside, you best button up. The air conditioner never stops running and the whole place smells like something that’s way too new.
The brain needs oxygen. I assume that too much CO2 lowers oxygen levels and starves the brain.
