The Glories of the Arab Spring

Here.

Muslims desecrating Jewish and Christian graves in Libya, attacks on synagogues in Libya and Tunisia, pogroms against Christians in Egypt, civil war and mass sectarian kidnappings and murders in Syria, Islamists in power in Egypt, Tunisia and probably Libya. What’s not to like?

Give the Arab democracy, and he creates a barbarism. Why? Democracy is rule of the people, and Arabs as a people are backwards barbarians. Of course much of this is due to Islam.

The pro-Muslim cries of “a few fanatics” resonate poorly, just like the Price Tag attacks represent “a few fanatics.” Arab Muslim societies, like Israeli Jewish society, are fascist at its core, based on hatred and persecution of non-Muslim minorities the same way Israeli Jewish society is based on hatred and persecution of non-Jews.

You just have to love it though, don’t you Robert?

I mean, isn’t this what the neocons wanted all along? Let’s bring democracy to the Middle East! Except now that these new democracies are hostile to Israel, democracy for Ay-rabs is bad!!!

  2. Dota

Why does everybody always equate the middle east with Islam? Lets talk for instance about Kazakhstan which even the ADL admitted was not antisemitic.

“Why does everybody always equate the middle east with Islam”

Of course it all makes sense. Pakistanis are Hindus who wiped out all the “other” Hindus from their country. Bangladeshis are Hindus too. But Islam is definitely not Arab.

I want to ask Allah what he was smoking when he stuffed that swiss cheese inside your skull and then stuck a skullcap on your head which apparently is sticking to your head even now.

      • Dota

Modern Islam is as Arab as Christianity is Jewish you pencil dicked Hindutwadi

        • aakash

Dota’s “muslim” logic skullcap filter can be summarized as follows:

Camel Piss (Muhammad’s fav. medicine): Filter OUT and ignore.
Cow Piss (Hindutva’s fav. medicine): Filter IN and direct it against each Hindu.

Shitty muslim countries: Culture trumps religion
Non shitty muslim countries: Islam hell yeah.

          Indian Mathematics: Caste duh.
Arabs expand on it a little bit: Golden age of Islamic Math.

Muslim gangs burning down a train compartment full of Hindus: Accident.
Hindu extremists getting mad and retaliating disproportionately: Drum up for ever.

Babri Masjid demolition: Drum up for ever (only as a backup if somebody mentions this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godhra_train_burning)
The muslim riots that followed: Ignore for ever.

          Khilafat riots in Kerala: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malabar_Rebellion

Oh wait there practically was no Hindutva movement then. So who do we blame it on? Care to answer Dota boy?

    • Perhaps because it is only the Middle Eastern Arab nations that are characteristically Islamic. Central Asian countries, for all their allegiance to Islam, are not particularly Islamic. They have a culture of dancing, singing, drinking, strip joints and other such ‘haraam’ activities that’d invite a vicious lashing in an Arab country.

“”Shitty muslim countries: Culture trumps religion
Non shitty muslim countries: Islam hell yeah.”"

When did I ever say this? Robert once claimed that Islam was the reason why Black African countries had low crime rates. I disagreed with him on grounds of the lawlessness that is prevalent in Pakistan. Culture trumps religion. This is why Malaysia > Pakistan. If black African countries have a low crime rate, clearly their culture takes the credit and not Islam. I’ve admitted this before and still do. Ask the commenters here, I’m pretty consistent and I never try and excuse bad Muslim behavior. I’ve also spoken out against the appalling treatment of Pakistani and Bangladeshi Hindus. My record speaks for itself.

“”Muslim gangs burning down a train compartment full of Hindus: Accident.”"

Wrong again Piss breath. I’ve actually condemned that attack and called it a shockingly barbaric incident. Google some of my previous posts or ask the commenters.

Context is Koran burnings. The Arab/Moslem world was rather quiescent until the Zionist movement got in gear.

    Hey Robert

What do you think of camel urine in Islam?

    http://www.muhammadanism.org/Hadith/Topics/Medicine.htm

Considering our boy Dota has been so vehement in his retorts about cow urine, it seems there is something to came urine also. Either way, the skull cap data filter on dota’s head seems to be working well.

    • Dota

In classical Shariah, urine of any sort is najas ie impure. The sources that claim that Muhammad advocated it have been proven to be false. Try again slumdog.

And you expect Israel to come to an agreement with the Palestinians?

Agreements with Arabs are not worth the paper they are written on, because they are made with individuals – not nations.

    • Sure, why not? Many Arab states have negotiated all sorts of agreements with other states to end conflicts, and those agreements worked out very well. The Arab is certainly capable of negotiating an end to a conflict, as he has a pragmatic mind. Also he seeks to avoid fitna.

    • The Palestinian issue is a tricky one. The average Zionist/Israeli who negotiates with the Palestinians, sees them as one monolithic people. While he thinks a ‘deal’ has been settled with the Palestinian representatives, there is always an Ahmad whose family was wiped out in an Israeli attack and is out for blood, deals and peace treaties be goddamned.

    The reason why democrasy won’t work in Arab countries is best explained by the following Arab saying ;
Me and my brother against my cousin, me and my cousin against the world.

Thats not to say we the USA should support autocrats, far from it, we should NOT supports them! What the West needs to do is ensure that democrasy after the Arab spring does not end up being 2 wolves and a sheep deciding on whats for dinner.

  7. Skookum

I can’t argue with your second paragraph, but how do you justify equating Israel with Islamofascism? Israel is the only functional democracy in the middle east.

    • Zionism is Jewish fascism. It’s every bit as racist, bigoted and intolerant of minorities as Islam is. In fact, in the region, Israel is probably a lot worse at the moment.

‘Give the Arab democracy, and he creates a barbarism.’

Historically, isn’t it more like, give the Arab barbarism (or dictatorship) and he creates democracy.

Its a little early to say how Egypt will work out I reckon. I actually think that Islam is quite compatible with electoral democracy. And they don’t want wholesale westernization; they want Islamic culture with democracy. That’s why a lot of them voted for the brotherhood.

Also, tribal Arab culture does have a lot to answer for when it comes to power dynamics in the Arab world and even gender inequality. Some of the most oppressive to woman parts of the KSA law are where tribal custom has shaped the interpretation of Islam or where they have deferred to tribal custom because the scriptures were not clear. .
