In wars between the Great Satan and the Axis of Evil, who do you support?
The first GS-AOE war was the Iraq War in 2003. In that war, of course I could only support the Iraqi people who fought the invaders alongside their leader Saddam Hussein. Although Hussein was a monster, it should be obvious to anyone that Iraq was much better off under his rule. In recent years, Saddam had been killing ~1,500 people per year, usually by torturing them to death. That’s about 4 people a day.
However, since then, 1.4 million Iraqis have died due to the war that the Great Satan started with help from the Little Satan (Israel) who helped gin up the case for war. That’s about 500 a day. Every day, 125 times more Iraqis died than would have under Saddam. If Saddam had stayed in power and there had been no major internal strife, he would have killed 12,000 in the past 8 years.
Now, if you were an Iraqi, which one would you rather take? 12,000 dead over 8 years or 1.4 million dead over 8 years? If I’m an Iraqi, I want to stay alive. I want my relatives and friends to stay alive. The better chance I have of staying alive, the more I support that system. Getting rid of Saddam hasn’t done one bit of good for Iraq. Instead, Iraq has been completely destroyed by our Nazi-like war of aggression. In addition, much of the surrounding region has been destabilized.
Now, if the Iraqi people themselves want to rise up and start a civil war to get rid of Saddam, that’s their own prerogative. If people die, people die. People have a right to self-determination and to decide their own destiny. If they want to have a civil war to overthrow a government or for whatever reason, that’s up to them. But Nazi-like wars of aggression to “liberate” people? No.
Now the Great Satan and the Little Satan are ginning up another war, this one with Iran. In that case, I would always support the Axis of Evil, Iran. That’s the only progressive thing to do.
In the case of the Great Satan versus another partner of the Axis of Evil, North Korea, we would have to support North Korea.
This assumes that the Great Satan would attack the Axis of Evil and not the other way around. This would always be the case. None of these countries are crazy enough to attack the US.
Great Satan and the Axis of Evil,
Neither. I choose neither. When you see a man/beast synthoid vs man/machine synthoid, you don’t take sides. You watch in disbelief that a carniverous God would create such a spectacle.
And you work for the day the man/machine is rended apart.
God has little to do with it.
Sadly, US sabre rattling merely strenghtens these regimes by radicalizing their populations, which is then used as a casus belli by US propogandists.
“US propogandists.”
It’s bad alright. The Rebirth of Earth requires the Death of America as we know her.
What’s that supposed to mean?

Strictly in the context of war, I am more inclined to support the “Axis of Evil”. Evil is a morally relative and religiously defined concept. As a religiously neutral atheist, I prefer to go by the ethics of humanity, which makes me feel that people who fight to defend their country from foreign aggressors deserve more sympathy than the foreign aggressors in question. In this situation, the United States is the foreign aggressor while the Iraqis are the people who are defending their homeland and their right to life.
“Now, if you were an Iraqi, which one would you rather take? 12,000 dead over 8 years or 1.4 million dead over 8 years?
I think that number is way to high where did you get that from?
What’s that supposed to mean?
It means that America is grided over so that wild animal life is a tiny fraction of what it once was. It’s unnaturally for humans to live venal lives of consumerism. Like chickens raised in cages. The mortal sins of America are many and too grave. Too much for Americans to talk honestly about. I won’t get into because we’ve been over this ground already.
The renewal of Earth must begin with the renewal of Earth’s ecology. That means getting America’s grubby hands off the Earth.
I kind of knew what you meant, I was just seeing if there was more to it.
“I was just seeing if there was more to it.”
After the death of America, we’re going to celebrate with each other in Kansas.
