This is probably a good idea. Notice the peasants are hiding their faces. The government might persecute you or even kill you if they find out that you went to a FARC clinic.

According to the Colombian government, the FARC are almost completely defeated. There is almost nothing left of them; they are on their last legs.

However, casualties among the Colombian military are at their highest level since the peak of the war in 2002. That is, the Colombian military is currently suffering some of the highest losses that they have ever suffered. The number of attacks and military casualties have risen by considerable amounts in each of the past three years.

As you can see, these guerrillas are extremely well equipped. The ages of those in this band average in their early 20′s, belying Colombian government propaganda that 75% of FARC forces are minors. As you can see, they make up all of the races of Colombia’s people – mestizos, Blacks, mulattos, Indians and Whites.

Peace treaties could work with the FARC, but the state won’t negotiate, and they slaughter anyone who is on the Left. At the moment, almost the entire Colombian legal political spectrum is rightwing. The one force on the Left, the Democratic Pole did not do well in the last elections. In addition, a number of their candidates were killed.

A Great Political Party

The Japanese Communist Party. This is the largest communist party in the developed world after Russia. The party polls well; the latest results were 7.5% in national elections. There is increased interest in the party after the global economic downturn in 2008, but this has not yet translated into electoral gains for the party.

This was the only party to oppose the Japanese war efforts in WW2. That counts for something.

All other Japanese political parties have been co-opted by the rightwing. Although they have different names, they are more or less all running on the same ticket. They often have power-sharing agreements so it doesn’t really matter which party wins or loses, sort of like the worst of the Republicrats in the US. Given this reality, the JCP is really the only opposition party in the country. The party sends more women to office than any other party in Japan.

This is more or less a Eurocommunist party and they do not have a particularly radical agenda in Leftist terms.

Liberal Race Realism: Where We Are Coming From

I just started reading your blog. I’m enjoying it very much. I agree with your views in this post as it applies to *most* HBD-types online. Most are just highfalutin racists who have a bone to pick with “niggers.” I imagine most of them implicitly approach their posts and ideas with a measure of retribution against what they, perhaps accurately, perceive as blacks victimizing whites in various ways (direct and indirect).

This will explain why the majority of HBD attention is placed on blacks when there are plenty of other races (namely variants of South Asian, Amerindian, Australoid, or Arab stock) who have low IQs as well. Though admittedly, none of these races have the same type of behavior as blacks, which links back to my previous point that explains their attitudes.

This is not to say that HBD or race realism is in any way flawed. For the most part, HBD guys are correct. There are innate differences in intelligence and behavior between races. The evidence is abundant; it is obviously not necessary to expound on this evidence in this comment. There is nothing inherently wrong with accepting these purely scientific findings.

My beef with HBD types is more about their attitude. Your attitudes toward HBD science will be greatly affected by your past inclinations. I have always been a liberal who happens to value facts and evidence; I came across the evidence for HBD and couldn’t simply ignore the findings.

Yes, there is a hierarchy of intelligence (the defining trait of humanity) between races. It is a very sensitive issue and should be dealt with sensitively. That is, if you wish to speak on HBD, you should take a scientific attitude.

Yes, the reason for this “double standard” I request of HBD writers, is in fact rooted in emotional grounds. But emotions are just as real as race, and many people could potentially be damaged through indirect means. This is all irrelevant if you are already a racist who is simply uses racialism to corroborate one’s beliefs. Contrast this to racialists who formed their views on the basis of evidence first (perhaps like James Watson).

I could have written this myself. US Blacks have IQ’s of 87. Whoop te doo. This “low IQ” crap about US Blacks is something that HBD types have wasted a tremendous amount of time and ink on. They never tire of beating Blacks with the “low IQ” stick. Yet the US Black IQ is not particularly low by world standards. I believe that the average human has an IQ of 89, but I am not sure how they arrived at those statistics and whether they are weighted or not, as they must be weighted.

As you can see, US Black IQ’s are well within the norm of and are actually higher than many world groups that no one gives much thought to. Yet we endlessly hear US Blacks beaten with the “idiot stick.” I say it’s time to knock it off. On a world scale, US Black IQ’s are not particularly low.

Of course HBD is a sensitive issue and should be dealt with sensitively if we are going to deal with it at all.

I don’t see the point of using HBD as a billy club to beat Black people over the heads with. There’s nothing much to be done about US Blacks anyway, so what’s the point about pummeling them with the IQ stick? It’s not like they woke up one day and decided to score 87 on an IQ test. A humane person doesn’t attack people for something that’s not their fault.
