Steve Sailer got pilloried for saying what I will repeat and elaborate on below, but I really do think that he was onto something.
Truth is, men want a woman who is somewhat more feminine and women want a man who is somewhat more masculine.
White men think a lot of White women are bitches (too masculine), so they go for Asian women, who are relatively more feminine. White men avoid Black women, as they are even more masculine that White women.
A lot of White women think White guys are wimps, so they go for Black guys who are more masculine. An Asian guy is even more feminine than a White guy, so forget that.
Black women like Black men, since both are masculine. They think White guys are wimpy, and Asians are out of the question.

There is actually some good evidence that all of the above is occurring. I am involved in a Yahoo group about romance fraud on the web. This group is swarming with White women who are hooking up with Black men. There is also good evidence that large numbers of Asian women are going for White guys.
Asian men are also extremely sexist (as their cultures dictate) so many Asian women think a White guy is going to treat them better.
Black men have told me that Black women think White guys are wimps, and my not-so-great experience dating Black women (Hopefully not to be repeated!) tells me the same thing. Black women are also the most cynical, manipulative and materialistic women I ever dated, but I’ve only dated a few.
I actually never considered Asian guys wimpy or feminine at all, since they have cultivated a culture of extreme sexism, contempt for homosexuality, and respect for classic masculine and male norms.
However, there is a lot of anecdotal evidence out there that many Asian women in the US are finding many Asian guys to be feminine (they are saying this because they now compare Asian men with White men, whereas in Asia there are only Asian men, so Asian guys seem fine). Asian men do lack body hair, etc. and probably have lower testosterone.
You can go to Asian nationalist sites in the US that are swarming with furious young single Asian men ranting about so many of their women dating White guys. They are also cultivating an image of masculinity, with lots of posts about Asian athletes and famous Asian warriors. They seem to want to date White women as a way to get even, or even get some period, so there are lots of posts about Asian guys and White women.
There also seems to be a tendency that the female goes for the more masculine guy, and then he treats her like crap. For instance, we have tons of stories of White women going for Black guys due to their being more masculine, and then the guy just refuses to work and lives off the woman, cheats on her and treats her like crap. She puts up with it because she wants a masculine man so badly.
We are also hearing of many Asian female – White male relationships where the same thing is going on – the White male refuses to work and just lives off the woman, cheats on her and treats her like crap. She puts up with it once again because she wants to be with a masculine man so much she will tolerate being mistreated.
It even works within races. I’m White, and since high school, I have been hearing nice guys wail about how women and girls won’t fuck them and even treat them like crap and how the biggest assholes who treat women like total shit have women coming out their ears. Women say they want a nice guy, but then they get with one, and his niceness seems wimpy to them, so they go for a more masculine guy who treats her poorly.
Obviously, there are a lot of folks for whom this stuff doesn’t apply, but I think that Sailer has hit on something here.

It seems like only Asian women in America mostly want to date out of their race. What surprises me about Asian countries is that the men don’t seem to have any problem with sex tourists flying in from all over the world to fuck their women. Places like Thailand and Philippines. I heard that in Eastern Europe and Russia, they will beat foreigners asses if they think you are going there to exploit the girls. They are very possessive about their women. I wouldn’t say Asian men exactly tolerate it. That story about those Chinese men rioting because Africans were fucking Chinese women and excluding Chinese men from the partying comes to mind.
I don’t think such a party could have even been held in the first place in places like Russia. Foreigners trying to hold a party where they fuck the native women and exclude the native men would have gotten their asses beat before they even contacted the girls.

Filipinos seem to be the most racially/ethnically promiscuous, at least based on my impression. Filipinos in general are kinda weird, in my opinion. Many Filipino men don’t really inspire a ton of respect. Either they’re really goofy/weird, or they’re wannabe black.

Filipinos have a wide array of looks. I have a Filipino buddy who looks completely Han Chinese to me. I’ve seen some with the very dark more Pacific Islander look. Most of them are sort of an Asian “mestizo” at the crossroads of Spanish, Pacific Islander and Chinese. And some look quite Caucasian too. They are an interesting mix. Another interesting group of Asians is Indonesians. They have a wide variety of looks too and probably the most beautiful Asian women there are.

It depends on how you classify “Caucasian,” but when people think of “Caucasian,” white Europeans and their descendants come to mind.

Everytime I’ve asked a black woman would you ever date an Asian man she looks at me as if I lost my mind. Although I did meet one black woman in my life who only dated Asian men. Sorry, your personal observation is wrong. The dating pool for women who date out are probably 1-6s in terms of looks. Those who exclusively date their own race are generally 5s to 10s. And this applies not only to looks but to class, education, health, etc.

“We” don’t have problems keeping our women. It’s generally the least desirable ones who date out and the least desirable males who are left single- but then again “Asian” men are less likely than even women to have never been married throughout a lifetime.

Based on my own experience with Asians, along with personal observation, it seems that Asians quietly work hard, get ahead, and (relatively speaking) enjoy their success in private.

They also don’t form a “China lobby” or “Japan lobby” that pushes the U.S. into wars against its interests on behalf of another country (insert Asian country).

Just a thought here…I think one strong argument that supports the notion that Asian males are the most feminine is the difficulty of being able to tell a male Asian transsexual from a woman. The “Lady Boys” of Asia are one of the first warnings given to male travelers to Asia(usually SE Asia).
I have never seen a white or black male tranny that I couldn’t tell was a tranny from a mile away. But with Asian male trannies, they blend in so well with females you almost cannot tell. So I think just as the physical level, Asian males have more facial features that one would consider feminine and women are biologically hardwired to seek out masculine traits in males in order to produce dominant offspring. I think that explains why Asian males seeking to date interracially have little success while Asian women who seek the same are very successful.

Except there are hardly any Northeast Asian transsexuals, clearly the logical conclusion from this would be the obvious- that the reason why there are more black and white trannies is because they’re more effeminate. Southeast Asians and Northeast Asians are not the same race. If you want to argue that Southeast Asians (aside from Islanders) are feminine you might have a point, but not more so than blacks or whites for sure.
I definitely think there are people in each of the groups you mention who do have those perceptions and draw those conclusions with respect to masculinity and femininity and the attractiveness of each quality in men and women of various ethnicities..

White men want Asian women because they are chauvinist like most men and want submissive females and Asian women fit this stereotype. Likewise, some black men chase white women because they are perceived to be more attractive than black women due to racist, Eurocentric culture in which they live and internalized self-hatred that arises out of this culture.
Asian women want white men probably as success symbols. Asian men on average seem to be shorter and slighter than white or black men, and since height and bulk are correlated with masculinity, they are seen as less masculine.
There’s also that ridiculous stereotype that Asian men are lacking in the penis department. I’ve never slept with an Asian man but I would imagine they are no bigger or smaller than any other man.
Black women btw are actually have more estrogen on average than other women, from a purely physiological perspective that would make them more feminine. They certainly seem to be more curvaceous on average than either white or Asian women.
I really don’t understand the assertion that Black women are more “masculine” or white women more feminine. I know plenty of white women that have square jaws, low brows and rectangular body types which indisputably masculine characteristics that I don’t often see in black or other women. There will also be those women who look boyish across ethnicities and I just haven’t seen any more masculine looking black women vs. white women. If we’re talking about black women’s “attitudes” that would be a stereotype based on movie representations of ghetto dwellers. Most blacks are middle class and not part of a ghetto underclass.

Perhaps this is a trend that will return according with the seilerian theory? As more African women and Asian men end up alone being discarded in favor of someone of other race, they have to settle between themselves. The earlier passage of the same section, though, says it’s quite rare (overall, there’s no breakdown by sex). The disparity between black man/white woman marriages is also decreasing, even though it peaked not long ago (1981, if that’s really not long ago).
I wonder if such marriages provide interesting complications/curiosities to the whole genetically-racial IQ notions. I’m not suggesting that they’d affect the whole picture, but whether their children’s IQ fit with whatever prediction one could make. My guess is that IQ would follow more phenotypic “looks” and familial traditions/self-identification than genetic affinity with a race.
